How fun, you know when customers spout of the name of a bag, and they pronounce it correctly - I have to say I'm quite impressed (as of course I'm bringing the bag to them... haha.)

A fellow PF'er [Iluvbags] and I are wondering... how is "vachetta" pronounced? We noticed that some SA's at our boutique pronounce it like [vosh]... I always thought it was pronounced like [vuh-sheh-tuh]?

I've never heard an SA at the boutique say "vachetta" But that's what we all call it in our online communities.

The SA's call it "vosh"

I also thought about this a few days ago. I called the LV store and asked how much was it to replaced the speedy's vachetta. I pronounced it vah-chet-ta.
Then she replied back, "did you mean vosh-chetta?"

and I said, "oh yeah, that."

lol....

I pronounce Damier like [dahm-yay].

SAs say "Vache" Pronounced "Vashe" which is french for Vachetta...I honestly don't know how to pronounce Vachetta, I do know that it's either,

vachetta...like Va- Chet- ta

or Va-shett-ta

or Va- ket- ta?? I heard an SA at a coach store say this and I've been confused since..
