It is "clay." The French do not pronounce the "s" if it is at the end of a singular word.

The plural is cleses, and pronounced, "clays."

I'm French too, so ummm...I'm sorry, it's not CLESES for plural, that word doesn't exist

The singular form is CLE (some ppl also use CLEF) and plural form is CLES (meaning key and keys respectively)

Yes, it's pronounced "CLAY" as in....umm....rythming with PLAY lol:roflmfao:
