This is how I pronounce it, but I'm probably wrong :p :

Fram (the vowel sound is like the "a" vowel sound in "apple")- bwah (kind of like "bra" with a "w" instead of an "r" sound)

Hmmm this is one word that challenges my haven't-used-for-years French. the "se" at the end makes me lean towards saying Framboise as "Frahm-bwahs"

Not sure. Any fluent French speakers to clarify?

mahn-dar-ran?

*ducks from French speakers* SORRY! I think I should start taking French...because I love the language, but knowing three already makes learning a fourth so much harder especially if I can't use it every day.

Whenever I see that, I just say it as is in English

chloe if u are reading this :roflmfao:
OH MY GOD!! you dont even wanna know how i prounounced it all the time!! good thing i always pointed at it when at LV without having to name it!! :p

Hi ppl! I'm French-Canadian, speak fluent French, and live in a French city for like...my entire life. *note: all Rs are the rolled 'hard r' that is linguistically a uvular R made from the back of your throat (NOT the Spanish or Italian soft R!), and all N and Ms are NASAL consonants, eg. plan in English, but in French it's kinda like "PLON". Ts are like...tse....you have to make a "s" -ish sound with the T....Geez...I should be putting my linguistic skills in use here....but the comp doesn't let me haha. Here goes...

Batignolles: BA-TIGNE-NOLLE (BA is like BO in BOP, N in NOLLE is like the N in NEW)

Suhali: Sue-A-Lee (you can also pronounce it the english way, but if yer a perfectionist, this is the French way, btw H is silent)

Framboise: Fram-Bwah-Z (AM in FRAM is nasal, ie like...OM)

Noisette: Nwah-Zette

Glacé: Glah-Say (most ppl avoid writing the E accent aigu because of comp. difficulties, but this word is an adjective modifying LV's mono Glacé line, and it means FROZEN-->describes how the monogram line is like...)

Mandarin: Mon-Da-Rin (roll your R!!!)

This is cool. I could have used a pronounciation key several years ago when I went in and bought my Monceau. It was embarrassing that I didn't know how to even begin. BTW, pronounced MON SO. Now I just need to know the correct pronounciation of my personal favorite LV of all time. Malesherbes
