I'm sorry, but what did anyone catch? Are people really laughing at their own illiteracy?

You say that like I'm trying to hide something--I'm not. I post on multiple forums. I basically admitted as much earlier. I'm not embarrassed about that.

I am not the person at Basenotes who said it was like Creed Viking. The person who made the comparison in that thread is the person who started that thread. I simply responded to his comment with my own opinion of L'Immensite. I never even said anything comparing it to Viking in that thread. Do people who "caught" me have a reading problem? Maybe English isn't their first language.

And, as I said earlier, that comparison between Creed Viking and LV L'Immensite has come up more than once. There are other threads in which it is discussed. I can link us all to the thread you're referencing now to show everyone that you're the one who did the misreading.

Here's a tip: If you're going to try to insult me and try to embarrass me, then you'll need to work harder than that. It would help you if you were to go after me for things that I have actually said. Maybe work on your reading comprehension. Or, if not, maybe don't be offended if someone doesn't like something that you like.

Sorry, I can’t understand the above text (I’m illiterate), especially the highlighted bold text. It’s not me that thinks it smells like Creed, I just posted it on 3 other posts this morning and called it a cheap knockoff. Way to pass the buck to someone else. I also love how an hour ago I was told not to take anything personally, then told to go onto another forum where “others” posted things, only to find out the the opinion of others, was in fact the same person. I call them out on it, then they take it personally, even resorting to name calling , while also advising me not to take anything personal. Maybe take your own advice? Again, don’t go off what I say or do, as I, and others I don’t know, nor ever met, are illiterate morons without any reading comprehension skills.

Literally, you followed me to another board and credited me with making the Creed comparison OVER THERE and then tried to embarrass me for it over here by making it seem like I was trying to hide something. And now you're trying to say that I'm passing the buck to someone else.

You say that the opinion of others at another board "was in fact the same person" at this board. This is what you said:

"I looked it up and the person on the Basenotes thread that compared it to Creed and trashed it alongside their “SA” is also named “ultravisitor”. Maybe somebody you know? "

YOU ARE WRONG.

Do I need to literally copy and paste the other thread from the other board over here so you can see that I NEVER MADE THE CREED COMPARISON OVER THERE? The only opinion I posted over there that I also posted over here is that L'Immensite is terrible.

I never made the Creed/LV comparison at the other board, nor was I trying to hide something, which was definitely what you were implying. You were trying to make it look as though the only person who is making the Creed/LV comparison over there is the same person making it over here: supposedly me. You were trying to make me look like someone that I'm not.

Again, I don't mind being taken to task--so long as what I'm being taken to task for are things that I've actually said.

And yes, I realize that I'm taking this personally, but that is, again, because you're trying to insult me by attributing ideas to me that are not my own. You're going after me because of my supposed ideas. THAT is personal.

You, on the other hand? This back and forth started because you were hurt by my opinion of a perfume.

OMG! I could care less about your opinion, on here or any other forum you direct me to. Calognes smell different on each person and people all have different tastes as to what is pleasant or otherwise. Call it a truce at this point. The last thing we need is a brain aneurysm because of a darn fragrance debate. You can continue to flood the internet with bashing, and I will just sit back and enjoy my fragrance and soak up the compliments I get from it. Side note: At least it’s not being compared to the repulsive Dior Homme Parfum, that would be just wrong on so many levels!

I do agree that you could care less about my opinion about a perfume. That's why I said earlier that my thinking L'Immensite is awful doesn't have to change your opinion.

You claimed I said something that I didn't say. And then you tried to embarrass me by portraying me as someone that I'm not over here. No, I'm not calling a truce on that unless you admit that you were wrong. I'll leave it alone, though, if you do.

I'm not sure why I should care that someone who likes L'Immensite hates Dior Homme Parfum. Obviously, if they like L'Immensite then they probably like the scent of cat piss, but whatever.

Have you ever tried cat piss? Maybe if you did, it may calm you down. Why do I get the impression that you are one of those people who would bash something, then get caught spraying samples of it on yourself in hiding behind a bush? You already admitted to trying it like 5 times. If I hated something as much as you claim you hate this fragrance, I don’t believe I would try it on 5 separate occasions. Once would be enough. “Hey SA, do you have any more samples of that fragrance we both hate”. “Here you go”. “Thanks, I hate this so much but I just want to be sure, will you have more next week”......

Wow... this thread is intense!!!

I bought Ombre Nomade a few months ago. I have been wearing it every day. I like it but I don’t plan on repurchasing it once the bottle runs out. I don’t know how to explain... it’s just not that special.

My bottle comes today & I can't wait! Haven't seen many reviews but the ones that I have seen are very positive so I really appreciate your sharing, it helps to have a balanced perspective so Im not that disappointed if it doesn't work for me.

Didn't like it at all on my skin so I sent it back yesterday! Boy was your feedback on time, I ordered it based on the euphoric reviews I saw, thinking it would work for me. I did the same with Attrape-reves & Le Jour se Leve & those 2 are my current favorites.
It’s so personal, right? I think my favorite LV fragrance is Mille Feux. I bought it for my mom a few times. She loves it.
