I got a sample of Orage recently and decided that I think I like it, too. I haven't worn it too much because I think I might fall in love it with it, too. Do I really need a third LV perfume?
Orage is my favorite of the men’s collection and I would like to get it soon. I also really like Ombre Nomade but I m hesitating buying another oud fragrance after Santal Royal.

Guerlain's Santal Royal? Why don't you like it? I think that one is wonderful. I don't find it to be an offensive oud at all.

My problem is that there are actually two or three other Louis Vuitton perfumes that I would like to have. While that might not seem too bad, I already have 11 different full bottles of perfumes, plus some decants and tons of samples, and there are also some Dior and Chanel perfumes that I'm really interested in getting as full bottles (on top of countless others from smaller houses). Um, I kind of have a thing for perfume...

I love it but people don’t like it on me. :crybaby:
That's too bad, though I guess oud is one of those notes that doesn't work for a lot of people. Maybe have your SA give you a bunch of samples of Ombre Nomade so you can try wearing it and seeing if people react towards it. The only reaction I can recall that I've gotten while wearing Ombre Nomade was from a young woman who, in the middle of a conversation, said, "You smell really good!"

I’m surprised there isn’t one or maybe there’s one but I just don’t know about it. I think the LV fragrance line is underrated and is not talk about enough! I would love to hear about people’s opinions about this wonderful fragrance line.

I recently purchased the Le Jour Se Lève in the traveling set with the atomizer. I’m a man but I’m fascinated by the whole line. I get samples every time I go in. I’m so obsessed that I spray it in my car or on my pillow. My favorite is the Le Jour Se Lève, the Apogée, and the Turbulences. I initially didn’t like the Mille Feux but grew to be quite obsessed with it as well. Let me know what you have or just the thoughts you have (like and dislike).

Totally agree that it’s underrated and surprisingly doesn’t get a lot of love or press. Whenever I’m in a boutique I rarely see anyone lingering around the fragrance tester station either (besides me!)
I first started seeing the fragrances earlier this year as my SA gives me samples every time. Instantly obsessed! I have the L’immensité and Mille Feux but my fav is also Le Jour Se Lève! So divine and it’s officially made me a sniffer!

Candles! Jacques Cavallier Belletrud is behind the scents again, and Marc Newson designed the pots. Has anyone had a chance to check these out yet?

Louis Vuitton Taps Marc Newson for Nature-Inspired Candle Collection

After creating perfumes for Louis Vuitton back in 2016, master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud has developed a set of four scented candles for the French fashion house.

The ceramic pots that house the candles have been designed by Marc Newson, who crafted the bottles of Les Parfum Louis Vuitton. Each candle has a handle made of natural leather, which is attached via metal studs, with a gold-finish metal lid doubling as a coaster.

Belletrud’s aim was to capture nature’s scent and translate it into a fragrance that fits the storied house’s essence. The candles were envisioned as buildings with open windows, with a “poetic breeze blowing in from the outside and gently lapping.”

Each candle embodies a different natural experience. L’Air du Jardin invokes the spirit of rosebuds, Île Blanche the feeling of warm sun and fresh cotton, Feuilles d’Or of a walk through forests, and Dehors Il Neige of fires on a snowy winter night.

The candles will retail at $185 and are available to buy from November 5 online and in selected stores.
