When I shine a light on my new bangle, is see random sparkles. I usually see this on my more sugary bangles. I don’t see this on my nicer textured bangles. I can also feel two scratches that were not advertised. I’m not sure if I’m making a fuss over nothing.
I recently returned a bangle from ultimate jadeite because there were two stone lines and one vertical one that was pretty deep which were not advertised. Initially, she tried to say that she already sent me photos and discussed the lines but I had screenshots and reminded her that was for a sister bangle which was $900 less. If she had openly disclosed it, I don’t think I would’ve went through with the purchase. She offered me an $300 refund to keep it but the whole transaction just didn’t sit well with me. Instead, I spent $200 to have it shipped back to cut my losses. I now see she has relisted the bangle for for $300 more than my original price and didn’t change the description at all. Overall, I think she’s good at being responsive and sending extra pictures but I’m not sure if I’m ready to make a big purchase again with her.

Not sure how much you paid for your bangle but if it bothers you where you’ll think about it every time you look at your wrist, it might be worth returning.

You bought it! So lovely the blend of colours.

I keep playing with my newest one to curb another purchase. It's been on my wrist everyday, since it arrived.

Yes! I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I’m glad I went with my gut because the sizing for this is perfect for me. The other option I was considering coincidentally sold the next day so I guess it worked out lol.

Do you guys take your more expensive bangles when you travel? Im gonna be at a friend’s house for about a week, and im really tempted to take Legolas or Ivy, but im hesitant. I only want to take one, since dealing with more would be a hassle. I just don’t know whether I should take a less expensive one, like Matcha, or if I should just bite the bullet and take one of my better quality ones.

I kept it. The price was not too much, but I did write in the review that she did not disclose two scratches and that the texture was not fine. I don’t like when things are misrepresented.

I have yet to travel with my jade bangles. If I were to pick, I would bring a mid range bangle. Something that is comfy on the wrist, not too delicate nor intricate (eg. Carved bangles).

I’ve never travelled with mine due to the nature of my travels, which are diving. My destinations also make me feel unsafe wearing any jewellery so I generally don’t.

I’d agree - if I really have to, it’ll be a non-descript white bangle that’s not too expensive.

It really is a pretty shade of minty green (at least on the photos) @ivorydolly. Happy to see your continuing to share pics of your newest baby.

I would love to be able to buy a hinged bangle but don’t know where to purchase one actually. I’d really want one that sits snug on my wrist and because I couldn’t bear the sore knuckles, hinged is the way to go for me. If you don’t mind my asking, where did you buy your bangle? Thanks a lot.

I bought this one from 'jade rabbit gems' based in Singapore. They were open to offers too, so I got a good deal. It is not exactly snug on my wrist but I'm okay with that :)
