Another post on lighting and color - see how different Largo looks in different lights? The brightest was taken in bright sunlight. The others in fluorescent light (the darkest) and indirect sunlight/ fluorescent (the lightest). It is quite changeable - like the sea!

Two new arrivals today! Not great pics, but I'm sure I'll get around to taking more in the future ☺
First is "Largo". It really does look like the color of the water there, with the little blue bits like the sunlight flashing on the water and reflecting the sky.
And second is a rose carved ring, a lucky find, to match "La Vie en Rose"
I'm a happy girl today!

Oh Crosso I love Largo and it looks different in different lights!! And that ring! So pretty.

I am a jade newbie and went to SF Chinatown earlier this week. I thought it would be nice to get a jade bracelet. After purchasing one, I started researching more about this beautiful stone only to realize that I think I got a grade B, C, or B/C. Would you ladies be so kind to confirm this please (the color is more like the first picture posted). I believe its a fake
On another note, I enjoy reading all the posts - learning so much and seeing all the beautiful jade you ladies have!

Thank you for confirming. I have read about the chemicals leaking into the skin. Well the bracelet fits good so at least I know my size and will know what to look for when I jade shop again.

Thank you for the site referral! That website had some beauties! I also read that jojo jewel is another good one. I would love to get one in person but would need to find some reputable sellers in SF China town area. If not, online would be another option
