I got it from the local store Luxe Pieces in SF (same place I bought my bangle). Ultimate Jadeite eventually sent me the pics in different lighting about 2 weeks later than promised. One of the owners (the wife) let me know her husband was busy was exams and it caused a delay. I understand, but at the same time, I'm quite impatient!
It was great looking at the pieces in store because I get to touch the cravings, compare sizes, etc.

Thanks, Molly and J4Me! We are in Key Largo - got out on the boat a little today and had some amazing yellowtail snapper and snow crab for dinner, YUM! Planning on snorkeling, fishing and soaking up the sun!

And I adore the name you chose, Molly - JT is somewhat of a "hometown" boy where I come from, "Carolina on My Mind"! The swirl of colors in your bangle are beautiful and how nice and more meaningful for you that it came from close to your home! Glad to hear you had a wonderful holiday and that you are feeling well!

Gorgeous purple. I bet you could bargain that price down.
It's got great color and translucency. Something like this would likely be VERY expensive if it is untreated Grade A, even considering any internal flaws it might have that could lower its price.
I would check specific gravity. I would check to see what it looks like under long and short wave UV. If it fluoresces brightly, it might be injected or dyed. Does the green/white look crisp or does it have sort of a fuzzy/jelly look? If the latter, it might be treated. If you look at it under a loupe, how does it compare to any confirmed Grade A jade you already have? If it full of interconnected spiderweb-type pits, it might be treated.

My latest dark Hetian is just over 24mm wide and yes I took the sticker off before wearing it going out last night!
