Vacation time is finally here!!! It was hard choosing which bangles to take with me, but the ones I'm taking are traveling in style, thanks to jade sister AJ Meow and the ingenious bangle bag she made!

I bought this in Europe and was told it's old. I'd like to share it with the jadeladies on here for some advice. Thanks!

Very pretty bangle, Connie! It's hard to tell a bangle's age in person, much less from a photo, so it's rather difficult to speak to that point. Many sellers will exaggerate the age of a bamgle in order to make a buyer believe that it is untreated. I hate to be a wet blanket, but an untreated bangle that is this vibrant and translucent would likely cost tens of thousands - so unless you paid a pretty penny, chances are it is probably treated and not that old ( within the last 30 years). It is really beautiful, all the same. I have an "imperial" green one that is treated, but I enjoy wearing it!

Crosso enjoy your holiday! I just got back from one myself. Had a great time!
Your bangles are definately travelling in style!

Have a nice vacation crosso!

Nice to hear from you Molly! How was your vacation and how are you feeling nowadays?

Connie, again I'd have to agree with crosso on that bangle. Enjoy it!

My latest dark Hetian is just over 24mm wide and yes I took the sticker off before wearing it going out last night! ;-)

Thanks, Jade4! Had a fabulous vacation at a spa on Vancouver Island near Parksville! Such a beautiful place!!! It was soul-satisfying indeed!
I'm feeling great thanks!!!!
Your 24mm Hetian is a stunner!

Today I wandered over to the mall near my home and lo & behold! What did I see? Gasp! A new shop opened. . . Selling B.C. Nephrite. They had quite a few bangles. I settled on this one. It has a lot of blue swirls in it, reminding me of water. I am so happy with it!

. . . And then on the other side, it is mottled with bright green and reminds me of the forest.

It is from the Cassiar Mine in northern British Columbia. I love that it's kind of close to home.:D

I LOVE it Molly!!! Congrats!!! It's just my kind of bangle with the 2 different looking sides and rich colors! Looks like a nice width too! Is your wallet in danger now that you have a jade shop nearby?! ;-)

So glad you are feeling good and what a heavenly vacation you had!

Thanks Jade4. Oh yes, I noticed some very nice rings too! But mostly carvings. Of course today, I couldn't see past the bangles! :D. There was one very bright green one that was $2500.00. Not a bad price for such a bangle! Online it would be much more I'm sure!
Jade4, the width of mine is 22mm. Just a touch under yours. I chose it for the combination of colors and the width. The various colors don't show up too much in my pic, but it reminds me of a Monet.
