Hi jadies!

Here's another find... normally I won't buy 14k gold as I prefer the look of 18k or higher, but I've been making exceptions when I find jade pieces I like. First my earrings, then the beads for MIL have a 14k clasp, and now I found this lovely ring.

I think I will need a sizer to put inside as it's a wee big, but it will look awesome with Iroh. I'm not at home, but I will take pics of them side-by-side. I see why Silver Mom does suites of jade now. (Hi Silver Mom! How's Mochi doing in this weather?)

Okay... here's the ring. I'm calling her Zuko. ;)

Hi JKP. Your new ring is BEAUTIFUL and matches your gorgeous bangle perfectly.:smile1: Mochi and I are shivering. BRRRRRR Thank you for asking. I have thermo underwear, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt AND sweatpants on because it is sooooo cold. Mochi has a tank top and a t-shirt on and we are both so cold. We thought winter was over. King, thanks for sharing that link about the Jade Buddha for Universal Peace and you must be very proud that it'll reside permanently in your home country! I can't believe I've not heard about it until now and will keep my eyes open for a chance to see it someday while it's on tour! Those who are able to see it in person must be awestruck beyond words whether one is a Buddhist or not, jade lover or not!

Congrats JKP on a stunning ring!!! Fab find - I love it!!! I'm with you in preferring the color of 18K-24K gold. But for this ring I think the paler 14K yellow gold nicely showcases the jade cab's amazing color without detracting from it. Can't wait to see mod shots of it with Iroh! What does its sides look like?

Hope you and Mochi warm up soon Silver Mom!

GS, forgot to thank you for sharing your tips on Buddha and Guan Yin pendants! I don't have any yet and will keep that info in mind whenever I do shop for some. :-)

OMG!!!!!!!! What an amazing ring!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! It is breathtaking and thanks for reposting Iroh, they were made for each other! Well done sweetie!!!! And by the way, looooove the name Zuko! Strong and fiery!!! Any chance your ring is named after Zuko, the 'Fire Nation' Prince from the animated series, 'Avatar'? Fantastic series. :)
