Uli, thanks for those links. Yesterday I saw a deep blue Guatemalan dolphin pendant. I'm going to ask the seller about sourcing that material for a bangle. Seems like there is so much jade just being discovered there!

Ladies, here is the dolphin. I think the carving is not so good, but the color is stunning! It's darker then the Amazonite/Paraiba tourmaline like colors I've seen and mostly heard of, but I love it. I've written to this seller about finding a big enough piece in this color for a bangle. Looking forward to their reply.
Uli, I totally can imagine this color on you! I am on the hunt for this...Let's hope this seller is "well connected."
Uli, I am out of funds for jade right now too, but i imagine it will take some time to find anything bangle grade. I imagine that if I start asking around now, maybe in a year or so I might have some possibilities.
Claire, that's a very pretty blue. I can imagine a bangle in that blue will be eye catching.
I think so too GS. I think this material has some translucence, and could probably take a much higher polish with some detailed workmanship. At least, that's what I hope for lol! Then it would be a heart of the ocean bangle!
