Chaneljewel, SC stands for the seller Suzanne's corner on eBay. She sells both grade A and treated jade. Check under item descriptions. If is says natural, untreated, then it's A grade. If it just says jade, then it's treated.

ok i am loving her jade but the pics aren't so clear :(

This is why I won't be purchasing anymore from her. I love the one I got from her (perfect condition), but without telling if there are scratches, cracks and stone lines on the bangles, I'm too worried to a chance. :(
I don't like having to return items, but she does have some beauties listed, and she's a really nice lady.

This is how I feel too Tea. Of the baby bangles I ordered, she sent a few that were not very nice with serious cracks. Then when I complained, she sent better ones and was really kind. But the whole thing was kind of disorganized, such as sending a completely different size.

I must say that she sent a gorgeous replacement for William's bangle. It's icy clear with 2 apple green spots. Except for one area with a stone line/slight fracture, the bangle is really nice quality...but it's much bigger so he can't wear it for a while.

I have to agree with Claire. You did very good for $20 and sometimes you really just have to treat yourself. I've never paid a lot for jade so my bat bangle was a major treat and my bf said it was my Christmas gift. :)
Claire, I know what you mean about the tad bit of a hassle with exchanges. Plus sometimes by the time shipping costs are taken into account, it comes to almost the price of the bangle!
This is why I don't spend a lot on bangles. I would if I could walk into a shop and see one I loved. I've been pretty lucky with my cheap jadeite. I've loved everything so far. Alot of sellers aren't as kind as SC. That was very nice of her to send another and she really is good to her customers.
Oh, and yes, she's not on the ball with sizes. My bat bangle was off by a mm but it really makes a difference sometimes.

Tea, so many unexpected things come up when buying online, even when one knows the seller. For example, jade can be so hard to capture accurately given how it looks different depending on the light.
I agree, SC is very kind. You really lucked out with your Dargolola bat bangle. It really seems that it was meant to be with you. It's very special and one of a kind. It's a great early Christmas gift!

I told my husband that I would like the Arwen bangle for Christmas. It was suppose to be a starting my career celebration bangle, but it's taken since Spring to pay it almost off. And I bought others in between. Now I think it will be a great Christmas gift from myself and him! I can imagine wearing it for the first time on Christmas Eve with a pretty dress, going to our friend's annual party and staring at it in the candle light!

Timing can be an issue with these gifts lol. I got Big Blue as a 40th birthday gift from him, but my birthday is in june, and I got in the early fall or late summer...which was soooo long. He ended up giving me another B day gift because of that. Since you got yours pretty close to Christmas....it will be fabulous!

I think Arwen is a perfect Christmas gift and it will go perfectly with the season.
Our idea of Christmas exchange is he buys himself something from me, and I by myself something from him. Dargola was what I bought myself from him. lol
This happens when you get older and don't want to run around looking for gifts. ;)

That's a great way to do it. This year, we are doing 1 gift per person. I was surprised, but my older son suggested the idea, for everyone to think of just one nice gift to give together to each family member. I am so sick of Christmases with running around, wasting tons of paper, and too many little gifts. Makes me kind of soul sick. So, this will be a new way for us to do things.

Ideally, each gift will be something with some thought and hand work. For example, we are making the little ones desks. My husband does the carpentry and I paint them with scenes. Stuff like that...

oh so frustrating....
it seems hard to even get a good bangle for a good price these days. Have you guys seen the price of Nephrite? omg! Plus, Allen seems too busy to return my emails.
Have any of you ladies bought from JadePeony?
I can't decide on nephrite or jadite, but it seems my choices are limited. Really wanting a princess round 60mm-ish in the good deal price range lol!

Crystaline, SC has some lovely things...maybe it just takes better communication. Perhaps you can ask her before hand about a specific bangle, and let her know what you would ideally like!

I know it's difficult to decide about jadeite or nephrite! They both are so magical in different ways.

RE: Allan, sometimes he takes a while to return emails, especially when he's traveling. I do know that he is working on a personal project which takes a lot of time, so maybe just keep trying? Sorry, that sounds frustrating.

This is exciting though! Your jade will find it's way to you and you can take your time looking and being open to noticing her when she crosses your path.
