Tea, it does look like Spreckles, except yours is so much more luminous. Thankfully the coworker has continued to be nice. That is super good news.

Uli, that's a pretty choice "traveling bangle".
There was an Hermes thread awhile ago that did the same with a traveling twilly . They named the twilly and everything. I think if we do this, we should set up a separate thread for her, for exclusive traveling bangle pics. Fun! I'm in.
That's actually not a bad idea and I believe what your mum says.
Strangely, after I sold her, I couldn't let her go either. She stayed in my mind and came back to me. That kind of freaks me out. She had a chance to get over her issues in someone elses care, but came back just as mean.![]()
It does happen sometimes when the previous owners were so connected with their stuff. 5 years ago my boss had her house built and decorated in French colonial style and searched for antique furnitures. She found out that a rich family had lots of their antiques for sale then the house after their parents passed away. The house itself had been offered for $10 mil. so you could assume how wealthy they were. She came in with an antique experts who also has "sixth sense" but she didn't know back then. The house was full of antique stuff, much more than normal for everyday use of a family, all in very good almost perfect condition, must worth lots of money. After looking at 2 or 3 rooms, her expert insisted to get out asap. On the way home she told my boss that there were many ghosts in that house, lying and sitting in the once their own antique stuff. What the heck! Later she found out that the house owner was a big pawn shop for many decades, they had under-valued to hell precious things brought to them by bankrupted or once-wealthy-now-downgraded family, who urgently need cash for their illness relatives or funeral, etc. The way they lost their precious or heirloom pieces were so painful and even when they die they could not let go but wandering around their stuff and without doubt will follow them to their new home. Well, antique pieces could be strongly connected to their onwers, both in good or bad way.
That's why I suggest you to drop her at not any but the most dark and awful pawn shop :sly: Then the bangle could not hurt anyone but the one who is strong enough and willing to take the risk, pawn shop owners
Good luck with your decision
