Could one of you talented ladies post a tutorial on that knot I've been seeing on Insta recently that results in a ruffled looking tails, sort of like a tuxedo shirt? It shows off contrast edges so well. Anyone??!!

 @Croisette7
I always begin with free wrinkles Gavroches ( if not then I need all the tails To be wrinkle-free)
Tie two gav together,
twist them just about right (not too tight not too loose) leave the four tails a bit stick out to turn them into petals later.
Make a loop, and pull the two tails end through the loop, but do not pull them all the way through the loop, only halfway and leave about 2 inches of the tails to make them look like two leaves.
Adjust to your liking.
Tada, you have a rose.:heart::heart::heart:
I hope I make it easy to follow.:giggle:

How to Twist a Twilly into a Rose.
First I twist them together, one tail shorter than the other; then make a knot. I keep one finger in the knot, keep twist and turn them into circle.
I tuck one under the base. The other I pull through the center hole and then over the first wrap then under the second wrap. They all stay like that. ( Blue/white /orange)
I make another, a little different at the end I pull one tail halfway through the center the other I keep it lose as is.( red/navy)

From the Full length scarf fold it down to the length that you wish
You can style it longer or shorter than you inner dress ( be careful, don’t let it touch the ground or it will ruin the delicate scarf)
Tie it in the front into a bow or just tie it into a simple knot. Now, you have made your simple dress look flowy and fun for any occasion.

Putting a tute for a basic Weave knot (I call it a Tods knot out of habit to a tpf member) and my alteration of it for use on 90cm scarves.

Basic Weave/Tods knot is fab for larger or long formats (all that length on the Maxi Twillies or MT slims)

1- On a large format you can work with a bias fold, or just fold it down in to a thin rectangle and put the center of it at the front, bring tail around the back and to the front again.

2- Insert one of the tails top to bottom under the center of the scarf:

3- "Weave" the other tail in between the end you tucked and the center of the scarf, so it lays UNDER the tail, but comes out OVER the center

4- Pull the ends to tighten and secure. You can generally leave this alone with the big formats, especially if you have used the bias to do this (as you will have long tails) but you can also half tie the ends to give extra security.

Part two (altering it for use on a 90cm scarf) coming next.
