Scarf as belt...
This is a 90 cm carre, folded on the bias.

wrap so you can knot it in the front, and tie yourself a perfect little square knot (right over left then left over right...)

Then turn knot to the back, and go have fun!!

~ Flower knot for Gavroches ~

Step one:
Put your Gavorche face down on a flat surface. Take opposite ends and tie together with a small double knot

Step two:
Take one of the two remaining corners and thread under the knot you've just made

Step three:
Do the same with the last remaining corner.

Step four:

Pull both ends apart. The tighter the pull, the smaller the 'flower' will be. Turn the whole thing around so that the first little knot is on the inside. Place around your neck. Secure both ends with a small double knot behind your neck.

Now turn the shawl so that the knot side is face down. Then take upper ends and tie them together in a small double knot.

It should then look something like this.

Next you rearrange the folds a little bit. At this point you would slip it over your head 'bib' style and wrap the shawl around the back of your body.

Then you secure your draping with a belt ~ fini!

Tie them together with a small double knot.
