The details are so beautiful and subtle. This color would fill a hole in my collection. And I quite like the silvery white and gray. But I'm not sure if I want to keep it. The beige and maybe tones tip it a bit too "warm" in hue for me

Wow, I like how different this color way is from the last few seasons’ color families. Hope the trend continues.

It’s beautiful, but I know what you mean - I love this design but I’m not sure if any of the cws will work for me. But sometimes a cw will come along that magically works when you try it on, so hopefully you’ll find that magical cw when they all start trickling into the stores.

I feel the same way. You don’t know what you don’t know

It’s fabulous in these colors! I wish this was a colorway I could wear. Well, cw 05 is still on its way to me... we shall see! I’ll post photos when it arrives.

The yellow and silver is pretty but I don’t have the colouring for it. I tried on five of the colourway. They did not have the turquoise which I had been very interested in. I wound up getting this one which is mainly green/blue with brown and some purple. I do really like it but I will see if the turquoise shows up online in the next few weeks and possibly exchange it.

That’s gorgeous! Much prettier than it looks on the H site (so what else is new???). On the site, it looks very monochrome. But in your photos there’s a lot of color variation.
If 05 doesn’t work for me, I might try for 08.

You are right, it is beautiful, which is especially apparent on your photos as opposed to the on-line H com photo. It's a muted scarf. Which isn't to say it's not beautiful b/c it is. If I was in the boutique, I'd ask to see some other [brighter] colors b/c then I'd have a better idea of whether this yellow/white/mauve version is a standout scarf for me. Sometimes he who hesitates is doing the right thing.

Thanks for doing a bias fold photo. I like that one the best of your photos. The colors mesh together nicely in the bias.

Thank you. I always wear scarves on the bias. I like a muted pattern and my favourites are generally the more modern scarves that tie more muted. While I adore many patterns most don’t pass the “bias test”!

You think? I like it on you. The brown one is beautiful on you. You carry it well. I want one or two for myself. The scale of the giraffe pattern probably takes getting used to (took me all of 2 minutes to like it!). A scarf like this is dramatic and it's not for shy retiring types. Joannadyne, if you can carry purple or red hair -- which you absolutely can, you can carry the giraffe pattern.

I have a giraffe printed dress that's an olive green with the spots a darker olive than the dark sage background. I quite like the dress -- I have a matching jacket. I don't know which giraffe scarf would go with this dress, but I expect the brown one to blend well with the outfit's muted earthy colors. H nicely anticipated my desire for something giraffey -- I've been looking at giraffe jewelry for the past year.

Hey eagle! Sorry, I somehow missed your post! Thank you for the lovely compliment! I do like this scarf quite a bit - i like ALL H scarves quite a bit! I think my tendency is to compare the new designs with the ones on my wishlist and figure out where it falls. Since I still have a few wants from previous seasons, this one would fall lower on my list. Plus, the more my obsession grows, the more my desire for the larger formats. Unfortunately, my money tree isn’t keeping up with the pace!

But I do agree that it’s high time for another giraffe scarf! I look forward to seeing which cw you choose - I bet it’ll look absolutely wonderful in you and satisfy all giraffey cravings! (Giraffe jewelry sounds cool!!)

Did Carnaval des Oiseaux come in 90cm or just 140cm? I could have sworn I saw it in 90cm online months ago but now everything I see only mentions 140cm, so I was maybe mistaken. Thanks so much.

To my knowledge it came last season (winter 2019) in 140 cm only.

It only came in 140cm silk twill in 2019 and I am not certain if that was a reissued design or a first. She is one of my favorite designers.
