Jeu des Omnibus Remix has arrived. I love it! Rouge/Rose/Bleu. It pairs beautifully with chambray, and with denim as @Pirula showed us. In case you are wondering, the graphic cross-hatches are deep navy, not black as they appear on the H web site.

Hello scarfies!

Y'all may remember I bought the Iris pocket sqaure in CW 08 a few weeks ago. Then I could not stop thinking about the pastel one. So despite the fact that I told myself I was going to try to be happy with CW 08 even though deep down I was drawn to the pastel one and took the price tag off, it was no good. I just had to get in the pastel one just in case and see if I was right or wrong about it.

My feeling is they both look fine on me, but the pastel one rivets my attention. (And i think it looks a little better on me too...big surprise....) Now I have to figure out how to solve my dilemma.

Here's some comparison pics for people. Both scarves worn on the same dark and light shirts. What do y'all think? Keeping both is not an option.

can you sell any of your older scarves, the one you might have had enough of and it, possibly, could be replaced by the Iris to justify keeping both? As they both look really good on you

Here's the updated list with losange and a twilly added to the list and one of the men's silk design identified. Also, the La Maison de Carres twilly is from SS16 as the reference number and cws are exactly the same. They're somehow just brought back for this season. (I stand by my theory. )

Aww, thank you! These are very elegant colors. Just not sure if it would flatter me, as I've long learned that pastels/soft tones just wash me out. But perhaps for a smaller format it might be okay?!

When I brought that up with the silk SA, she said Hermès found these older stock from other stores and asked if the store wanted any and since they sell so well, the store said yes.

Personally I find that a little hard to believe because there are many stores where the La Maison des Carres twilly is now being sold as part of the new season. My theory is that they brought these back to commemorate the closing of the La Maison few Carres site soon. The new site interface has been rolled out in North America and only a matter of time before the same happens with other continents. The new interface doesn't include the use of the La Maison de Carres site. It's a shame as I like the design even if not easiest to navigate around. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed - they're in too many boutiques for that to be the case. My SA was showing me scarfs and when I looked at the twillies he said "oh look, and these are back" without any other fanfare.

I’m loving this design the more that I see it. This CW is spectacular and I love your styling with it. Thank you for sharing! I’m torn between this CW and the largely blue one. Dying to see both IRL to make my decision.

Woah! So sorry I'm behind guys. We had "second Xmas" with Mr Bcats family toady and just got back. Hope I didn't miss anyone!

What a dilemma bunnycat! Of course you may guess that I just slightly prefer the brighter one on you, but they both look truly beautiful, yet different. You must go with your instincts of course...which one would you really grab without having to think too much about it? As far as returning, if you still have the barcode tag, I believe you could simply slide it back through the care tag and it would almost re-stick to itself again. Just a thought!

Yeah- I decided to see about a refund or credit for it. CW 01 is just calling too strong. I know I couldn't bear to put it back in the mail....

They are both soooo beautiful! Truly! (And neither looked bad on me!)

Bunny, you can many ANY scarf look amazing. That’s the honest truth.
That said, the more colorful scarf just seems more “you”. It’s fun, bright and youthful.
The softer scarf is pretty but the brighter scarf is more WOW and I love it paired with either black or white. I also feel that it’s more “year round”.....

LOL! (Oh no- I've had a few "accident" scarves where I was like....ermmmm...waaaahht was I thinking....)

I think that you need the dark scarf for a light shirt and the pastel for a dark shirt.

hee hee! I have to save myself for just one more this spring- hopefully Tigre Royale.

@bunnycat I'm of no help as to which looks better as some have chimed in that they both serve different purposes. I'm trying to decide which Iris gavroche myself! No multicolor sighted as yet in store - cw 4 and cw 8. There's also another softer yellow with absinthe but I didn't take a pic of that.

These are the two Iris CWs that I want! Though the pastel one bunnycat got is also seriously calling to me. But these two for sure.

FWIW- the IRL colors on the CW 08 didn't differ strongly in visual quality from the online pics. So on that one, at least, the online photos can guide you relatively well if anyone is interested in the CW.

Iris CW 01 on the other hand, it's not that they are terribly off or anything, it's just the stock pics are not picking up at all the nuance in the colors that your eyes see IRL.

Pastels usually wash me out to, and I generally avoid them, just like I avoid stark B/W combinations, but CW 01 of the Iris pocket square, just like my pastel Amours jacquard, really surprised me. I think if the hem had been white and not the glowy jaune souffre, it may not have worked on me. But it has a "something something" to it as it is.

Thank you ksuromax! We're gonna see what H says first. I have been culling a bit the last few months. Sadly for my wallet (but happily for me), new ones keep jumping in my drawer as fast as the old ones move on! Appaloosa...Jaguar Quetzal...Iris....Jungle Love.....
