Both suit you, bunnycat, but if I had to pick one, I'd say cw 08.If you do keep both, one could be a Spring gavroche and the other a Summer gavroche.
Thank y'all- this one really is a tough decision. I know I can't give the pastel one back. I like it too much. But the price tag is taken off the other one, so I can't send it back either. So, it look like I'll have both for at least a bit.
I think I like the pastel one on you. On its own and also on you, it's very subtle and classy. The brighter one is also very beautiful; it's a stronger statement due to the bolder colors and I think generally it gives a more youthful feel. If you wear a lot of black, I feel like this CW would be a nice pop of color.
The pastel is quieter, and the colors are more reserved and elegant. I think with this scarf, the general air of elegance will be noticed first, and then the eye will find the scarf
I've been eyeing the pink one myself, so I also echo @bunnycat when I ask if you've considered the pink! I'd pick the pink and pastel for you I feel like. But I am biased! I'm sure the website will restock, as it's so early in the season.

Congrats, I love this!! I've been itching to see this CW in person. The colors look slightly more muted in your photo, which is not a bad thing! Still looks gorgeous.

I saw the pink one, I think it was up one day, but the 08 and 01 called to me the most.

But I thought you said you already removed the tag on the brighter one? And the pastel is definitely a winner in my book (not trying to enable or anything). Can you return a scarf if the tag has been removed? I know some places/regions remove the tag at purchase.
Yes- I removed the tag, and I don't know if I can return it. I guess I could call. It's just under 30 days. I was going to sell it on my own. Probably end up having to take a hit.

I totally agree with you Saranga. The pastel colorway does feel very elegant in a quiet way and I like that sometimes in a scarf, and it seems an especially goos fit for the iris design. That is a good way to put it. My Gemini mind has two mode preferences, I think...elegant and edgy.
I've recently returned/exchanged a scarf in the US that had no tag on it. The store (in Paris) had removed the tag at the time of purchase. I changed my mind about the design and the store let me swap it.
But I read that you don't live near a store, so yes, definitely call! Possibly they will give you store credit and you could use that to get the pastel instead
Yes, the pastels/"pretty" colors seem to suit Iris particularly nicely. I think the pastels make the scarf feel more "lovely"ish and feminine.
Whereas the brighter colors make the design more contemporary, more modern. Hence why I said it felt younger. I love the brighter ones too. It kind of reminds me of those Andy Warhol paintings, like the Marilyn Monroe one where there's four of her, all in a different color? Right, that's Andy Warhol?
I love the pink and particularly the yellow, but they keep disappearing!
The pastel one is ethereal, romantic and very flattering on you. I think I prefer it even though the other one is beautiful, too. The first one is probably very pretty with jeans.

Yes, the brighter CW has a contemporary feel, but the sketching and composition (Warholesque) with the 4 panels is very modern for all the CW's. I think I saw the yellow still up? And it is a great color way. I think all of the Iris CW's are quite pretty. It's just finding your "fit" For your styling. Y'all who have stores near are so lucky!
CW 01 is very ethereal. I think I finally nailed down what it is. The colors combine in just the right way to remind me a little of the shimmer of a changeant mousseline. It has a very magical quality to it in person.
That sounds wonderful. I have a 90 Cm Iris and am not entirely happy with the color choice. I also ordered it without trying it on so I think you did the right thing by comparing both on you.
I understand. I don't think there are any bad CW's of Iris, but finding your perfect fit is always a bit tricky. Especially when there are so many appealing ones! There's some very stunning colors on all the pocket size ones for spring. The blue one has an amazing color combination on the peony section.
