I understand. I don't think there are any bad CW's of Iris, but finding your perfect fit is always a bit tricky. Especially when there are so many appealing ones! There's some very stunning colors on all the pocket size ones for spring. The blue one has an amazing color combination on the peony section.

I shall trod on over to hermès.com and study the colorations.

Yes, the pastels/"pretty" colors seem to suit Iris particularly nicely. I think the pastels make the scarf feel more "lovely"ish and feminine.

Whereas the brighter colors make the design more contemporary, more modern. Hence why I said it felt younger. I love the brighter ones too. It kind of reminds me of those Andy Warhol paintings, like the Marilyn Monroe one where there's four of her, all in a different color? Right, that's Andy Warhol?

I love the pink and particularly the yellow, but they keep disappearing!

Interesting analogy, I would not have thought of that even tho I' m a fan of Warhol.

Haha I don't know, the idea just popped into my head! Not all the CWs do, but the brighter CW of the two that @bunnycat is trying to decide (dunno what CW # it is) reminds me of Warhol. I think perhaps because arguably it's the CW with the most contrasting colors?

Y'all may remember I bought the Iris pocket sqaure in CW 08 a few weeks ago. Then I could not stop thinking about the pastel one. So despite the fact that I told myself I was going to try to be happy with CW 08 even though deep down I was drawn to the pastel one and took the price tag off, it was no good. I just had to get in the pastel one just in case and see if I was right or wrong about it.

My feeling is they both look fine on me, but the pastel one rivets my attention. (And i think it looks a little better on me too...big surprise....) Now I have to figure out how to solve my dilemma.

Here's some comparison pics for people. Both scarves worn on the same dark and light shirts. What do y'all think? Keeping both is not an option.

I definitely prefer the pastel CW on you, it gives a very relaxed elegance look. It was my first choice for this design but the colors did not work so well on me. I'm looking for the pink one now.

What a dilemma bunnycat! Of course you may guess that I just slightly prefer the brighter one on you, but they both look truly beautiful, yet different. You must go with your instincts of course...which one would you really grab without having to think too much about it? As far as returning, if you still have the barcode tag, I believe you could simply slide it back through the care tag and it would almost re-stick to itself again. Just a thought!

Bunny, you can many ANY scarf look amazing. That’s the honest truth.
That said, the more colorful scarf just seems more “you”. It’s fun, bright and youthful.
The softer scarf is pretty but the brighter scarf is more WOW and I love it paired with either black or white. I also feel that it’s more “year round”.....

I think that you need the dark scarf for a light shirt and the pastel for a dark shirt.

@bunnycat I'm of no help as to which looks better as some have chimed in that they both serve different purposes. I'm trying to decide which Iris gavroche myself! No multicolor sighted as yet in store - cw 4 and cw 8. There's also another softer yellow with absinthe but I didn't take a pic of that.

These are the two Iris CWs that I want! Though the pastel one bunnycat got is also seriously calling to me. But these two for sure.
