Thanks! Good to hear you still love yours especially in white! I'll write a post about it when I get it. I know I'm really late to the party but always admired this bag!:biggrin: I don't think Chanel has recreated anything like it. I did talk to the SA's and they said "grab it"!. They said If it does come back which it may it will be twice the money.:yes::smile:

Gorgeous with the gold HW! I have this one with palladium hardware. BTW, I bought this one on the second hand market as well and it was in perfect condition when I received it and It is a show stopper. The funniest thing to me is that women have commented that they would be afraid to carry a white tote. I have never found the bag to be a dirt magnate. It' very easy to clean, but it never gets that dirty. I think I cleaned the corners when I put it away a week or so ago.

Yes it is thank you! I don't understand the "white" handbag fear either. I've had a white grained Saint Laurent for 3 years now and it never picked up any stain or color transfer. I do a vinegar rinse and then keep rinsing until water is crystal clear on my dark jeans. never had a problem. I wear silk white blouses and tuck them into jeans too, no transfer.

I was supposed to get my bag today but didn't receive it.:sad::confused1: Oh well, they are trying to find out where it is. I was so excited, but maybe tomorrow. Enjoy your bag!:loveeyes: Nice to hear you got yours from the second hand market as well and it was in perfect condition. I think there are a few people who just store their bags, do not use them and sell years later. It's hard to find a new one though - will let you know how it all turns out.:girlsigh::smile:

@whiteswan1010 I love these ladies who don't wear their bags out of fear! :lol: I find that Hermes and Chanel bags are the most wanted and at the same time the most feared to actually wear bags. All I can say about that, is keep 'em coming ladies!

I have a white caviar flap as well, and though I have not worn it as much as the GST, same goes for it not being a dirt magnate. I have never had color transfer either. The only other thing that people fear is the white leather getting yellow. I don't know if this is a climate issue or not, but in my dry climate it has never been a problem and everything is totally white.

When I think about it, I have more fear wearing a white jacket. I think that stems from the time I managed to spill a latte all over myself! :giggle:

Well I'm sure in that "no fear" club!:lol::yahoo:. It me laugh because most of the dust bags are black, even with my Saint Laurent white!:lol::lol: And I have never had a leather bag turn yellow on me either. The color transfer is from jeans that are NOT washed and rinsed until water runs clear. I wear mostly J Brand and the water is usually clear on the first wash.
Could be quality of jean. @gracekelly we are the same. I'm much more prone to getting stains and spots on my white blouses and sweaters too!:lol::tup:

I just called the company. The shipping manager thinks my bag will arrive tomorrow. I was refunded the expedited shipping money which was very nice as it was (1) day. One more day of anticipation.:facepalm::panic::girlsigh::love:

That was very considerate of them! Can't wait to see it!!! Are you going to wear it this Fall/Winter? I have been thinking about that with all the white boots they are showing for Fall, Passing on the boots BTW. Now those would be dirt magnates! It is hard for me to get past my East Coast mental block about white bags in Fall/Winte, but I am willing to try :smile:

Yes, it was. Of course I am...... I live in Florida.;):tup:. I will always be a New Yorker at heart but even if I still lived there
would wear it. I love winter whites!:heart: Ditto on the white boots though, passing trend.:no::tdown: Can't wait to see what they bring out for Cruise 2019! Oh that jumbo caviar better not be 'true white" now!:facepalm::wtf::wtf::wtf::panic:

I love winter white too! I also have an ivory GST that I also wear in the winter.
Since you live in FL, you can wear that bag year round!

I love wearing it with white J Brand skinny jeans (811 in Blanc) and white ballet flats with the black cap toe. If you are also a ballet fan, I would suggest getting a pair. White to me is so striking and my white jeans get beat up more than by white bags.

I am sure you are so excited! Congrats again!

Thank you, I know the J Brand 811. I'm a 620 fan myself, Own the Maria whites, and AG Farrah in white.

On care, I don’t do anything with my white GST except maybe once in a while wipe it down with just a damp cloth with water, nothing else.
