Does anyone know how to stop the GST straps from falling off my shoulder. I have a silver chain GST which I bought more than 5 years ago but only used it like 5 times cuz the shoulder strap won’t stay in place. Now I am thinking about rehome it cuz it’s been sitting there for like forever. I love the bag and yes it hurts when I see it sitting in the closet collecting dust. So does anyone know is there anything I can do to stop the strap from falling all the time

Cross the inner strap over the outer strap so now it has weight on it. Then it outer strap won’t fall off.

It’s a really cute design but two things bothered me....
1) the strap was all chain, no leather piece at the top like the GST so it hurt my shoulder when wearing it
2) the zipper is good which I why I purchased it, but because of the shape of the bag with the zipper rounding down at the ends, the opening was a bit tough to get into and I felt the zipper kept scratching my hands/rings when I tried to get stuff in and out.

I prefer the GST much more. The GST has a middle zipper which I like, and then I put my bulkier items such as a water bottle in the open slots.

I was wondering about how comfortable it would be. I just was obsessing over pink Chanel and found a pink one- but after two frozen shoulders I don't need uncomfortable !

I know exactly which pink! If it’s the one I recall, it’s the medium carnation pink. That year, the pink was also offered in the Medallion tote and I got that bag. I love that pink! It had matching ballets shoes too! I have never seen that shade of pink again and I have been waiting.

The GST came in a pale pink around 2012. I am sure you can find it pre-loved. I have it and almost every time I wear it, someone comments on it. It is a nice happy, elegant shade of pink, so maybe you might like that shade. Very versatile.

I'm not sure but it is very pale baby pink. This year I've been wanting pink for some reason:)
I need to remember to wear my Balenciaga in Amethyst- magenta but still pink. I like the pale pinks, but I do wear a lot of denim. I also have a Bottega Veneta pillow bag in pale pink from a couple of years ago... I guess I need to go shopping in my closet :):)

Hi. I'm so excited, don't even know if anyone reads this thread anymore!

I have desired a white caviar Chanel jumbo for years now but they have not made it it in a "true white" since 2012?
I have always liked the GST but was discontinued by the time I wanted to purchase. I have never purchased on the second hand market and never thought I would find a "new" white/gold hardware GST! It is from Ann's Fabulous Finds whom I read nothing but wonderful things about. I'm getting it tomorrow and hope it is everything it looks like!:love:

This is gorgeous, I love white bags and yes, true white white Chanel bags are hard to come by. I have two and one of them is the white GST like yours except mine is white with silver hardware. I love it and wear it tons in the summer.

Congrats on your bag! Great choice!
