Thank you MaryJoe
I'm a bit confused by the photos.
The main photo seem to b bigger than the photo in the box?
Is the hologram 14xxxxxx is from 2013?
The seller said that the bag is from 2013 and the size is 34cm large??
Do you know how bigger the xl is than the normal size one?
Thanks again for your quick reply
Best regards
What is the size of gst xl? 34x13x25 cm?

I bought my black GST in 2013 and the serial number starts with 17XXXX.... And as far as I know the regular GST is 33 cm, don't know about the XL, sorry

33 CM is the regular GST size. It equals about 12.99".

... but the one in the photo you shared is not the regular size. If you look at the number of quilted diamonds to the right or the left of the silver grommets where the chain is attached, it has more squares than the regular size one so it is an XL or larger. Here is a picture of a typical standard sized GST. Note the number of squares to the left and the right of the grommets.IMG_1500417486.090462.jpg

Thank you so much for all the answers. I don't understand why the seller mentioned that the bag is 34cm and from 2013?
I think i have to b very careful as ithe info.is so incoherent for me.
Best regards

I think I see now that from looking at her pictures, we are looking at two different handbags. The first pictures are perhaps a stock photo and she used a photo of an extra large GST bag. The pictures after that are photos of a standard sized GST. But I agree with the previous comment that for the money, The GST she is picturing is in quite poor condition. Too slouchy and wrinkly on the leather. I'm not sure you would be happy with how that bag looks in person. And, a hologram starting with 14 would be from 2010 or 2011. She could have bought that bag in 2013, but that's not the year it was made. There are some really good deals out there for GSTs in much nicer condition, and we all want you to LOVE your new bag! Good luck finding the perfect bag for you. [emoji173][emoji173][emoji173]

Hello Ladies, need your help deciding this one!!
I have a Beige Claire GST w/gold hardware that was bought in 2012. It is still in great shape as I didn't use it a lot plus stored it super carefully. Ever since Chanel discontinued the style, I have been confused about whether I should hold on to it or sell it. Will it start looking like a dated bag?

Would love to hear what everyone thinks. Is this a good time to cash out or will the GST survive the test of time?

I think if you sell everything that is discontinued, all that is left is the classic flap. And some people find the classic flap dated as it is really a “shoulder flap” bag.

I love the GST and think it’s a gorgeous functional Tote. I see people using them. As for style, I see a lot of totes and big logos bags now... big logos are super-In now.

If you are super trendy and only wear items that you can buy in the store right now, then yes.... sell the GST. But then again, sell all your other bags that are “discontinued”. But if you still love the look of the GST, I would definitely keep and use it. Mini bags are super-In now, but they look childish to me and I want to look sophisticated, not like a child. So I don’t wear minis even though they are in fashion.

The GST is Chanel and it’s a classic Tote. I love mine!

Good luck in your decision! For me, I would wear it and flash that chanel! [emoji51]
