I carry my GST to work sometimes on days that I don't have to carry my laptop (macbook pro 13", I always have it inside a laptop sleeve so that adds to the weight a bit more). An A4 size folder can just fit (just!) if you put it in horizontally (its length touching the bag base instead of its width), but vertically it will poke out a bit. Depends on what else you want to put in the bag, the GST does have its weight. I don't mind because I can adjust the content of my bag/switching to smaller/lighter wallet. HTH!
I try to carry it on my shoulder but it slips off a lot so it's mostly in crook of arm. Just got one pre-loved so still trying to figure it out.
Agreed! The straps are a little too short and they slip from my shoulder. So I'm thinking of getting a longer chain strap with a leather shoulder so that I can wear it more comfortably. I think that will make it more practical and I'll get more use from it!

Depends on what else you want to put in the bag, the GST does have its weight. I don't mind because I can adjust the content of my bag/switching to smaller/lighter wallet. HTH!
I also love using my GST for work when I can downsize.

It is!!! I love how the CC is there and seeable upclose but not 'in-your-face'!
I got my Gst preloved last year - it's a 14 series (2010/11?) and I found it slipped off my shoulder more often when I first got it. Recently it doesn't slip off as much, it's like its conformed to the shape of my shoulder more. I did used to cross the straps which stopped it slipping off but I don't need to anymore.
Does anyone else find that the shoulder slipping problem goes with time? ❤️
So in love with these two beautiful ladies. I use them all the time and they still turn heads. Personally, I think the GST was the best value of any handbag ever offered by Chanel, and they remain relevant today. I love my classic flaps and my sweet boy, but these have a special place in my heart. [emoji173][emoji173][emoji173]

Your bags are gorgeous! I feel the same. I have the same GSTs (and also the double-zip WOC). I use my GSTs all the time... the size, the storage, everything about it is perfect!
The new totes don't come close in my opinion. [emoji1]
Does any of your GST loose shapes over time? Do you find the straps slip off easily when carry over the shoulder?
I have seen some that have lost their shape. I have seen some that have stayed very nice over time. For me, the most important things are - don't overfill the bag so that it's extremely heavy, and store it flat on its back on the shelf with stuffing inside. These two things have kept my bags in really nice shape even though I use them often.
