Thank you, wow I didn't know what I was missing all these years - just a beautiful classic simple elegant bag! Well I just had to baptize it of course.
I was washing my hands and they were not thoroughly dry. Oh i just had to stuff it with tissue paper right away and got two small water marks on the gray interior. It's dry now but the darker marks did not go away.

I'm not worried and going to enjoy it for a awhile but will take it to Chanel soon to see if they know how to get it out? something simple like a shoe repair place? I'm not sure of this fabric. If not there is always Leather Surgeons down the road.. I'm not used to the fabric lining as I only own the classics. Anyone can help with this?
On my suede SW 50/50 tan boots I have gotten water stains on them. I just put more water on them even and took a sponge they gave me and rubbed it out to even out the color. But I dare not with this!!
I don't have a clue. Most of the blacks have black lining and beige's have light, so it's not noticeable so no problem. On the white it's a darker silvery gray. It's dry now, no change and leaving it alone. I have to ask an expert on exactly what fabric this is. it's not totally a satin lining. More of a mix IMO.

Definitely I've seen second hand GSTs for sale for just under €3k which is alot higher than retail. The way prices are going, this bag was a "bargain" in the world of Chanel.Thanks! Nah, it's not and has not been since 2015, an old rumor. They had it and just sold the last of the inventory available worldwide.

Yes, It last retailed in 2015 for $2,900. Very hard to find a "new" or "authentic" one. Stay with a few reputable sellers only.
I agree. I know I'll get hammered for this comment (it's ok my opinion) but it sure beats out the totes they have been producing like the "gabrielle"!!!
