F&F - even more spectacular on your hand - can really see the beauty and detail work.

this is just a costume jewerly piece, but i love it! for xmas, my grandma got me this antique deco bracelet- it's a moonstone with rhinestones around it. i love it so much.

That is a really unique piece and it is not truly costume since it has a genuine moonstone. also, in those days they were not rhinestones - they were called "french paste" I think. correct me if i am wrong pls.

I want to share the pictures of my First set of Wedding Bands that my wonderful Husband handmade for us in 1972. Mine is made from a $20, 24K Gold Coin from Mexico, and his is from a $50, 24K Gold Coin, also from Mexico. He hammered them down, drilled a hole, and polished until they were perfect. You can see the uneven flow of the band, as they are not perfectly round. He even did all the inside engraving himself................Bill and Teressa, November 25, 1972 All My Love! Can you imagine all that text inside my tiny ring?

These are my Original Wedding Bands from 1972 made by my Husband. I can't
even begin to think of the countless hours that went into making these, but they
are some of my most prized posessions.

You can see the free form shape of the rings in this photo, and you can also
see some of the wording that was on the Original Coin.
My Ring is made
from a $20, 24K Solid Gold Coin from Mexico, and his is made from a $50, 24K
Solid Gold Coin, also from Mexico!

Thank you, little friend! I didn't know what to expect when he said he was going to make our Wedding Bands, and was so shocked to see how beautiful they turned out! He really is a sweetheart , and the best part is..............HE PUTS UP WITH ME :nuts::nuts:

tillie When I first saw the picture of your wedding bands, i thought "I wonder what designer made them. Peretti bone collection? Too shiny a gold... Gurhan? Hasn't been designing long enough..." So of course, I had to read your description....

Wow. Your DH is incredibly talented! Those are stunning rings - organic and posh. Does he ever design other jewelry, or was that his major stroke of pure genius?

Thank you so much for sharing those pictures with us.

Do you also have a pic of the other ring your husband has designed for you? I sooo enjoy the coin design. It's spectacular yet with a quiet elegance.
