A simple and classic eternity ring from the municipality pawn shop. I found it yesterday. It has a TCW of 1,25. I love to wear it with my wedding ring. Onegirlcreative's pawn shop finds inspired me to have a look in the local pawn shop. :D

haha. i love that! thanks for the "honorable" mention, monica! hopefully others can be inspired, as well.

Your son is sooo lucky. Must be great fun to play with your mother's jewelry at age 14!!

oh my god, that is so cute! when i was 4, my mom had this ring (that i now have) that looks just like a tiara. so i would take it and put it on my barbie dolls heads. one day my mom went out onto the terrace and there it was, lying there! haha.

every time she tells me that story i just laugh. i remember playing with it, too.

i should take a pic and show you guys. you'll definitely agree it looks similar to a tiara. lol

talking about kid's wearing your jewelry, when I was 5 i found my mother's engament ring and decided to wear it. she saw it and told me to take it off... and it would not come off! she was so afraid it would have to be cut off that my hand must have been in cold water covered with cream for a long time till it finally came off. my fascination with bling has never ended LOL

:smile1::D:smile1: I'm sure they will. The 'stack-look' is so lovely. And pre-used jewelry can be so surprising!

i agree. in fact, all three of my rings that i wear as a wedding "set" are all from estates or a pawn shop. hey, since i lost my original wedding set a year and a half after we were married, why not? i bought a new e-ring with the insurance money, but once my mom handed down her gorgeous pear e-ring to me, i wear it every single day now! i love it. obviously, my other one doesn't have sentimental value since it's a replacement, so why not? i love it and i'm having fun searching, too!
