Try all three on if u can. I have both and wished all my gp were epsom leather for its light weight. All three colors are classic colors so just go with ur heart! Once u try them on, you should have a stronger inkling of which to choose.

Thank you for the input, you are absolutely right about the weight issue of any bag. I guess its just that Epsom is a type of treated leather which losing the texture I love in Negoda, but I will definitely try it out this week.

Well I am living in Ottawa, so the closest Hermes boutique is in Montreal, that is where I am heading this weekend so I can see and feel the bags in person like you suggested. My first choice was Gold or Black but when my SA told me about the Blue I was amazed by pictures of the color I found online. But like you said, I will make my decision once I hold the bags. Thank you!

My GP is in country cowhide so that's another option. It is textured but stiffer than negonda. Look forward to seeing your choice!

Happy to report: I got mine in Gold with Negoda leather!!

Tried both blue and gold, I guess because is almost summer in Canada now and yesterday weather was gorgeous, I felt the blue was a bit dark and formal with the Epsom leather and more a Fall-Winter bag; and Gold is a bit all year round and I can use it for casual and work. For the weight, you can definitely feel Epsom is lighter when carrying them but overall GP is not heavy (especially compares to my Celine Phantom), I don't think I'll have a issue with Negoda. And I still prefer the raw leather texture of Negoda.

Any woo, I know it's off track of the GP, but I just can't hold myself: I also purchased the Casaque II cashmere stole in Caramel/Caban! I know winter is far from now, but I saw the stole on the website so I asked my SA if they have stock. They did and when I see and touch it, OMG so soft but still has the weight you want for a winter stole. So I jumped in no hesitation at all!

I have a black epsom gp 36 and absolutely love it. Epsom is lighter than negonda and I like that it's structured. It depends on what you prefer as a leather. If you like something soft and unstructured go for the negonda. Epsom in black is really hard to find. I have a wonderful sa who helped me find it!

Yes I felt the Epsom is lighter but even though I loved the blue sapphir I felt gold is more a work and casual duo for me
