This is my GP 36. The color (Rouge Piment) looks similar to yours. I carry it as a tote. The handle is big enough that I can fit on my shoulders too. I like smaller bags however I find this bag elegant enough to wear to dinner also. I'm 5'4".
I have a tiny GP I hardly use. 30 might be just right, depending how you wear it & your comfort level wearing that size versus a larger one.
Regardless of size, I love my Hermes bags & find a use for each of them!

GAHHH we are bag twins! You also inadvertently helped me with an issue that I've been having, which is selecting a twilly to match the bag. I was thinking that something with electric blue would be perfect, and your picture confirms it. Thanks for the swoon-worthy pic.

I think I'm going to exchange it for a 36. Love everything about it except the size. The size works as far as what it holds, but... Maybe it's just me but the 30 looks "cutesy" on me - not to be confused with "cute on me". I can see standing in my closet admiring it on a shelf and then reaching for something else.

Good luck with the decision - it's a tough one for sure. We'd love to see some modeling shots if it's convenient for you.

I feel the same way about the 30 GP. Love it on others, but when I've held one, it feels almost like a toy bag to me. Which is weird because I have other bags that are about that size (like the Fendi Petite 2Jours) that don't give me that feeling. It's something about the proportions, I think. Good luck deciding!

You are so right. It really is about the proportions. Not just of the bag tho. For the first time in my life I thought "does this bag make my butt look big(ger)". And yes, yes it does.
