I originally wanted the gold/white small tweed one (seasonal) but my SA pulled out a beige/black medium bag and I fell in love immediately!! I find the medium one a bit big but the small one is tiny as well, so it just depends on what size you prefer. I am 5'7 (171cm) so the medium one looks fine on me. I have never seen the Gabrielle bag in person and was wondering how you wear it? Is it mainly crossbody? The strap looks super long. Also, which material would be ost durable?

I do wear mine crossbody but doubled up as single strap is way too long (and I’m 5’7”). It is a bit short like this but I actually like it as it feels secure on me.
I also wear mine the V way where one strap is crossbody and the other is on the shoulder forming a V. I hope this makes sense. There’s a bunch of YouTube videos showing these.
Finally the last way I wear it is simply on one shoulder like a regular shoulder bag.

Thank you! This does help! I’m petite (5’2”), so I’m guessing it would fall lower on me. I will definitely check out YouTube. Have a great weekend!

Apart from the classic flaps, i don't know why Chanel loves discontinuing their bags, like the GST, and the timeless clutch ( semicircle one) which I thought was so pretty but they discontinued it.. ( i have 3 of those in different color) and now when I carry those bags out, it makes me look like I am carrying old bags. [emoji20] really sad..
seems like I should only stick to the CFs. but CFs are so boring sometimes..

Ignore her comments! I no longer follow You Tubers or so-called Influencers on Instagram! I listen to the advice of my SA, read some of the comments on here, but ultimately, I listen to my heart, I think the Gabrielle is a terrific piece of design and is here to stay.

I’d second this. Buy what you love and you’ll keep using it for a long time.

According to SAs.. the Gabrielle collection is gonna be part of the Classic.. and it's Karl's last Classic for Chanel.
It's here to stay and the colours will evolve over the years.. but design will stay. Just like the Boy.
No matter how popular the Coco Handle is right now... it's not planned to be part of the Classic.
This.. may be phased out eventually.
Then again.. no one knows what tomorrow will be. So... buy it. Use it . just like how you wud like it.

I had mine for about a week now and already carried it out three times! I absolutely love how easy it is to carry and transition from single shoulder to the “v shape” which is great when you want your hands and arms to be completely free.

I say if you like it and have the means to purchase it, then go for it! Even if it’s “not in trend” five/ten years down the road, so what! At least you’ve enjoyed and used the bag for that long already :)
