If it makes you feel better, I ended up selling my medium. I knew if I just went ahead and sold it, I wouldn't lose money. It's hard to find in stores and mine looked very good.
I thought it was a great bag. Totally under the radar. I really like the look. I wore it a lot, but like you, I barely carried anything in it, so my hand would have to pass the pockets that were pushed towards the middle because of the collapsing sides (from the leather softening over use and time). My items were always blocked with the red fabric. That was only one reason for letting it go. The two other reasons: the age calfskin got a little too slouchy for my liking and one chain strap always fell off my shoulder when shoulder carried. I think an organizer might have helped with the slouchiness, but I was done. I'm more of a flap lover.
I miss it a little, especially when I see photos, but I just didn't see it as a forever bag.[/QUOTE]

Mei Kuan Im - fr Singapore Ngee Ann City Chanel. Think the stock came in on mon night. I just picked it up on wed.

According to the sa, the small n medium sizes will not be on display for the classic Colours eg. Black, white/black, beige/black, blue/black. It's reserved for those on the waiting list.

However, the large n extra large are available.

Hi everyone I'm so into the Gabrielle now and want to purchase whenever cruise comes out. I'm still conflicted between the medium with the gorgeous double straps or the cute backpack. I'm waiting for the navy/black combo to come back.

For those who have had the bag for awhile how does the bottom hold up? saw a couple at the boutique and they were completely destroyed. Looked like one of them had just had a fingernail go completely through the leather and it was peeling off the sides.

I'm afraid if I buy it and it hits something the leather will just peel off.

I have been using mine for a little over a month every day and it still looks pristine. I have the light lavender metallic version and am interested in adding a white/black or beige/black to my collection in the future, so would also love to hear from others with the black bottomed version. I have accidentally hit and knocked the bottom/corners of my Gabrielle on walls with no issues so far. I do take extra care when using it even though it has hit a few walls. The hard bottom has no give.
