Not sure this is the right time. The Gabrielle is not “trendy” anymore but as a lot of old stuff, Gabrielle will be back. TBH, I appreciate mine because is not trendy, it’s quite a unique bag as I don’t see people wearing it (and I am based in London!) + people are like surprised to see it. I like that.

I just managed to get a Gabrielle in New Medium from the store. Have been searching to no avail till i got lucky.
Is anyone able to recommend bag organisers or inserts to help prevent or lessen the sag that will potentially happen ?

Hi, i use bag organiser (brought from tabao) and never remove, it helps to prevent/lessen the sag, strongly recommended.
New medium is a good size and practical too, congrats

I will try out your tip! I just bought one , not off Taobao as there were too many to pick from and i got confused. Hopefully it fits well and is able to reduce the sag. I placed this purchase on hold previously due to the sag and was hoping chevron would come in the new med, unfortunately news of it being discontinued came before that.. Super glad i manage to get one, and in a colour i was looking for!
Does anyone have a photo or confirmation that the strap opens up?
You can see the "button" in GHW and SHW and the slit/hole on the leather strap? I suppose you could detach it and separate it, thus making the chain change from a loop-form into a long chain, with both the leather part at the ends. Then you could just pull the strap to release it from the metal ring where it supposed to be sat on. Do you get it? So sorry I can't provide you with the pics from my own Gabby, as I don't want to manipulate the leather part as it could leave a mark/got somewhat loose on the slit part. Hope that helps

Yes. The bag would have to have large loops like the Gabby for it to thread through.
I scored a black new medium two days before the price increase and the bag was bland new out of box with the metal plate. I was told that was the only one left in USA. Since so many sold out bags mysteriously appeared a couple of days after the price increase, I'm sure there are new medium ones somewhere
I only saw a small Gabrielle at my local boutique before my purchase. After I saw this video (although I didn't understand a word), I decided on the new medium
Thank you for sending this. I'm picking between a small and a new medium. I feel like I won't be able to put much stuff into the small (I like it when my bag's roomy and don't have to take out aything or everything inside the bag just to get an item).
I was looking at a small-sized Gabrielle bag and this is also the issue and as far as I know, the bag is in fairly good condition and seldom used. Is it because of long storage in the closet? Or because of the twisting of the chains?
Also, to New Medium owners, is there any sagging on the leather and needs some stiff bag organizer inside for the shape to hold up?

Hi, I store with bag organiser to keep the shape and carrying my new medium Gabrielle without bag organiser. There is some cresasing but no sagging.
I got interested in the Gabrielle recently as I was looking for a bag to use for traveling for work. A bag which can be crossbody and durable. Choosing between Gabrielle or puzzle. What are your thoughts ?
