The base is pretty tough! I have the so black chevron since last year and it’s holding up really well - no slouch so far. I think slouch tends to happen more in the medium than the smaller size

I bought it preloved and the prior owner can't recall, but the serial number is 263XXXXX so 18-something. I've seen a gold/bronze ombre that was 18A.
does the c logo looks small than the rest of the letters ?Hi guys!! Just wanted to share my new chanel gabrielle croco embossed purchase >_< I loved the signature strap and the option to take if off when you wanna be less flashy. And the croco embossed just sold me cus it looks so different and exotic without the exotic pricei just have a question for anyone who's had the gabrielle with the signature strap for a long time: do you find the strap becoming less stiff and more flexible over time? Especially with carrying heavy stuff in the bag maybe?

The CHANEL strap can't be bought separately. From what I remember, it first came out with the croc embossed leather Gabrielles from recent 20P or 19a/19B seasons...
EDIT: I see that they have the extra strap version on current aged calf Gabrielles on the website!

Frankly speaking, I am not a fan of gabrielle when it first launch. However, it's growing on me lately. I find it is casual enough for everyday use, yet looks modern, chic and edgy. So here it is my baby - new medium Gabrielle in black.

Left is the unicorn colour I tried last year and I adore it alot. Pity it was last piece and have some scratches on it.

Yes, I just bought the bag recently. Do try the size in store if you have access.
I used to find small is too small while medium is too big. So, I grab this new medium and it is perfect! I haven't start using the bag though.
