It definitely has a Christmas theme: the horse is a reindeer, there's a present in the carriage/sleigh, and Christmas trees and mistletoe surround the big H. The other cw's I imagine will probably be variations of green/red/white. Not to be negative, but my first thought was "ugly Christmas sweater!"

I astound myself sometimes - despite the fact I hung up the full scarf for observation the only thoughts that registered were
1) nice colours
2) knitting
3) some rehash of the caleche symbol.
I don't associate reindeer exclusively with Christmas but you're right - I should have got it!

Not at all--the caleche reference is completely correct. And when I am in an Hermes store, I am lucky if I can walk and speak simultaneously. There is a LOT of stimulation and distraction!

After your lively discussion about Au Coin du Feu, I had a thorough look but only found one cw so far: cw 09. For me this is definitely cute - and different in a good way! Never mind the "ugly Christmas sweater"... If you would find other cw's I would really, really love to see them!

What timing you have...I was just looking at this on the French site and thinking how wonderfully it ties!! There is a great textural look to it! Also, Hermes seems to do so few greens in their scarf collections.

We have raindeers in the north of my country so I don't only associate them with Christmas either.
