Congratulations rainneday. That's quite lovely tied.
Thank you! I am finding this new forum daunting to navigate, I've been trying to avoid coming here tbh. I have no room left in my brain for anything complicated right now, haha. Anyway...I wanted to share this with everyone as it was brand new to my boutique, I was very happy to bring it home, nautical is my thing :amuse:

I've been stalking h.com and still this is the only cw out there (on the France site). Here is the mod shot for 41. Looking forward to more cw's! View attachment 3397377
I agree I would love to see more cw of Kachinas. Maybe Nuttynut could do her magic trick on Kachinas as well!

DESIGN HISTORY
Built for the 1900 World's Fair in Paris, the Grand Palais hosted equestrian competitions beneath its magnificent glass dome until 1957. Hermes revived this tradition with the first Saut Hermes at the Grand Palais in 2010, and continues to invite the world’s show-jumping elite to this annual event which was given 5-star status, the International Federation for Equestrian Sports' highest classification. Boldness, respect, striving for excellence… the values of this sport are vividly conveyed in Cyrille Diatkine’s design, based on an image by the photographer Lucio Landa. Here, Super Sox, ridden by Lillie Keenan, seems to fly over the obstacle!

If I have to have a bear scarf, I would prefer a teddy bear scarf like Confiter des Coeurs (botched spelling, sorry) which H did maybe 20 years ago. I have a small collection of costume teddy bear pins of which the prize one to me is a Steiff bear.

I always watch Grizzly Man when it's on. It's a documentary about Tim Treadwell who tried to "protect" or watch over Alaskan grizzlies. And wound up, with his girlfriend, being eaten by a "mean ole bear" who probably hadn't got enough salmon or whatever to eat during the year. Basically he was a good hearted person who didn't seem to know what the heck he was doing in terms of conservation.

Is H going to do a Rottweiler scarf, too, like Givenchy (was it?).

WHERE WHERE WHERE?!

And so my love hate relationship goes on. It's all very French. [emoji23]

YEs it is, isn't it? Even the city Paris makes that with me: beeing there: Oh I love it, this is the best place to be" 5 meters ahead: " I hate it so much, I want to go home NOW!". 2 more meters: " how can you NOT love Paris"... it is amazing....

Total boooooh to shortening the MT.
