I saw one in hues of blue this afternoon and it was - despite my expectations - quite lovely. Some people might like to think of it as a retro-skiing scarf as that is what I thought of more than Christmas.
Au Bout du Monde was surprising in the flesh - if you love painterly blocks of colour it may be for you.

Except, isn't there a sleigh with a present in it, pulled by a reindeer? Sort of Christmas-ish. Though retro-skiing seems more likely to be generally appealing. Whichever, I want to see it! It looks fun.

Thank you for your feedback. The pic of 07 is definitely beige here. If it isn't for your feedback I wouldn't have known! I am interested in the grey too CW15. Hopefully more people will post pics.

Yes! More photos would be great!
I have to say my family has me second guessing what the background color is. They all said it was more of a taupe-grey or brown-grey. I know I was surprised when I saw it in person because, to me, it didn't look like the photo at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the combo of the "greige" with red hem. Hopefully, I haven't confused you more!

HI Mindi - what you think is a sleigh is in fact the Hermes logo of caleche, horse and groom. It's a knitted version of the central roundel of Ex Libris! The detail of the knitted stitches is wonderful - my mum knitted loads of jumpers for me and it does gives me a nice warm feeling just looking at it.

Les Tambours, of course you are correct that the sleigh/reindeer is meant as a playful re-do of the famous Hermes ex libris logo, but look closely--It is a sleigh (runners, not wheels), there is a wrapped gift sitting in it, and the "horse" has antlers! With respect, I believe I am correct. This is a Christmas-themed scarf.

It definitely has a Christmas theme: the horse is a reindeer, there's a present in the carriage/sleigh, and Christmas trees and mistletoe surround the big H. The other cw's I imagine will probably be variations of green/red/white. Not to be negative, but my first thought was "ugly Christmas sweater!"
