Omg BBC...bluetral...I love it!! And congrats on a gorgeous shawl, so versatile!I am about to coin a new term here....omg how much do I love this shawl??? It is the perfect - wait for it! - bluetral. That's blue + neutral. This has all the neutrals in it - plenty of blacks, soft grays, white, etoupe, soft brown - just geared toward a blue/green palette. There are a variety of blues - blue-gray, Colvert, paradise, St Cyr, even pretty pops of blue hydra, and yes, there is green in it, but it's...unobtrusive. Complementary. I am seriously going to live in this!!!

These are truly wonderful HNN, and seeing them side by side there really is such a difference between the two, well done!I have Dans l'atelier in CW 07, and have been on the fence about getting the gray, CW 15, too. I checked my inventory, and realized I didn't have a CSGM in gray. I love the Dallet sketches so much, I decided this can be my first gray shawl!!![]()

I admit I still prefer CW 07, but I'm thrilled to have this!!

Great choices mimi! Here is my Dans l'atelier in 07 and C'est la fete 03.
It's magnificent! I tried the pink version but the green just didn't work with my complexion, but this is pure magic! This thread is incredibly dangerous...I don't know what is going on with me lately, but I keep being drawn to CW's that are a bit out of my usual comfort zone. I have been so enamored of everyone's Tigre in the black/turquoise CW, but didn't think it could work on me with the "clay" background color. I tried it on in the boutique today, and the SA and I both liked it so much. It has a bit of a formal feel to it I believe, but hopefully I can tone that aspect down when needed. Now of course I am in my usual second guessing mode, so here we go, a quick modeling shot to get my lovely tPF friend's opinions! Thank you for letting me share/deliberate with you all!

Thank you so much hoot, it is an interesting combination of colors as only H can do!Stunning on you!! Love how all the colors look together when tied.
Thanks BBC, I do hope Tigre will work with jeans, since jeans and a black sweater is my daily uniform lol!Thank you thank you Bova! I love your gorgeous tiger too! It is a bit formal, but I think it goes perfectly with jeans, too. [emoji41]
Happy to be your twin hclubfan! Thank you for your kind words, and I actually have brown eyes and dark hair, and I thought for sure this CW would not work with my coloring, but somehow it does. I think anything that has some grounding in black always seems to work well for me. Wear yours in good health...will be waiting for modeling pics!I think it looks magnificent on you, but I must also fess up to the fact that I bought this exact cw yesterday!I think it will prove to be a very timeless and versatile cw, and I think the turquoise is just the right punch of color. Not sure what color eyes you have, but this cw looks amazing with blue eyes. I vote that it's a keeper!
