I don't know what is going on with me lately, but I keep being drawn to CW's that are a bit out of my usual comfort zone. I have been so enamored of everyone's Tigre in the black/turquoise CW, but didn't think it could work on me with the "clay" background color. I tried it on in the boutique today, and the SA and I both liked it so much. It has a bit of a formal feel to it I believe, but hopefully I can tone that aspect down when needed. Now of course I am in my usual second guessing mode, so here we go, a quick modeling shot to get my lovely tPF friend's opinions! Thank you for letting me share/deliberate with you all!

Awww, thank you pocketbook pup! I was pleasantly surprised to see that our store had more of the FW stock in finally. Still not all they are expecting, but at least there were many of the designs that I did want to see. Not to enable or anything, but this CW of Tigre would look great on you, and I noticed you mentioned that you find the 140 silks to be your favorite format these days. I have to admit that your comment 100% influenced my decision to look at the 140 designs this season! Now to review MYH's hints on taming this beast!!

I have Dans l'atelier in CW 07, and have been on the fence about getting the gray, CW 15, too. I checked my inventory, and realized I didn't have a CSGM in gray. I love the Dallet sketches so much, I decided this can be my first gray shawl!!

I admit I still prefer CW 07, but I'm thrilled to have this!!

This has all the neutrals in it - plenty of blacks, soft grays, white, etoupe, soft brown - just geared toward a blue/green palette. There are a variety of blues - blue-gray, Colvert, paradise, St Cyr, even pretty pops of blue hydra, and yes, there is green in it, but it's...unobtrusive. Complementary. I am seriously going to live in this!!!

If you know just a little about me you may know I am a CSGM fan! I find them so easy to wear and drape! After going a little nuts for the past 2 seasons I decided to show a little restrain and patiently (and no patience is NOT one of my virtues [emoji12]) wait for all CWs (well most of them anyway!) before making my final choices... Have promised myself no more than 1-2 shawls per season! I want to be able to wear my shawls not hoard them so need to have a manageable number... Well to cut a long story short... After waiting and watching and contemplating I finally decided on this CW of Zenobie that I absolutely loved on sight at the start of the season but still didn't buy because I wanted to see if I would be just as much in love with it as time went past...and it did so here I am with my first shawl of the season!!! Zenobie CW 16
The colors on this are mesmerizing!! I loved the green border! There is blue, black, gold, green and etain ....

Good to hear that there is more stock. I'm headed in tomorrow but alas my scarf budget is limited as I am focused on a few other goodies. But of course I'll look[emoji4]
