I am about to coin a new term here....omg how much do I love this shawl??? It is the perfect - wait for it! - bluetral. That's blue + neutral. This has all the neutrals in it - plenty of blacks, soft grays, white, etoupe, soft brown - just geared toward a blue/green palette. There are a variety of blues - blue-gray, Colvert, paradise, St Cyr, even pretty pops of blue hydra, and yes, there is green in it, but it's...unobtrusive. Complementary. I am seriously going to live in this!!!

BBC, this is an absolutely gorgeous bleutral!!! You've inspired such longing with your beautiful photos!:heart:

I have Dans l'atelier in CW 07, and have been on the fence about getting the gray, CW 15, too. I checked my inventory, and realized I didn't have a CSGM in gray. I love the Dallet sketches so much, I decided this can be my first gray shawl!!:tup:

I admit I still prefer CW 07, but I'm thrilled to have this!! :hbeat:

Both CWs are lovely!
I don't know what is going on with me lately, but I keep being drawn to CW's that are a bit out of my usual comfort zone. I have been so enamored of everyone's Tigre in the black/turquoise CW, but didn't think it could work on me with the "clay" background color. I tried it on in the boutique today, and the SA and I both liked it so much. It has a bit of a formal feel to it I believe, but hopefully I can tone that aspect down when needed. Now of course I am in my usual second guessing mode, so here we go, a quick modeling shot to get my lovely tPF friend's opinions! Thank you for letting me share/deliberate with you all!

Wow, bova... it is striking! I agree that it's a bit on the formal side, because of the black stripes, but the clay in the background keeps it more on the neutral side, and will make it work with a variety of different colors: black (of course, LOL!) but also brown, grey, beige, blue, navy, and I even think you could put it with certain reds, if they didn't clash with the turquoise.

Thank you, IF!! :flowers: This was the colorway I originally wanted, but it took forever to show up. So I got CW 07, which I love, and I thought I'd be done. When this finally showed up, I couldn't resist!! I love them both!!
