congrats on your purchase!My Eva is due to arrive tomorrow. Here is my concerns:
I bought a Gucci Soho Disco in black and it arrived today and I do love it! I am having buyers remorse for buying both these bags at the same time! Do you ever do that? Anyway, I may return one of them and having a hard time deciding which. Worried about the wear & tear on the Gucci & of course the vachetta on the LV. I have been looking at "tons" of youtube videos.
I realize that both of these bags are entirely different bags but does anyone own both and what are your thoughts ...

i have a red soho disco and a mono eva. they're totally different from each other in terms of style and capacity. keep both if you can. but if i had to give up one of them, i'd sadly give up the eva. the soho disco can hold more and is worry/vachetta-free. between the two, i've used my soho disco more.
Congratulations! Keep whichever one you're most excited about! Which Eva did you get, monogram? The amount of vachetta is negligible really. You can always use a different long strap or replace it down the road. Wear and tear on a calf leather bag (like the disco) is different than canvas so again just pick whichever one you'll use most in the next year or two. Personally I prefer how light weight canvas is, and I feel like it wears better and longer than most leather. Good luck.
I have both too! I could not bear to part with either...but I feel like I’m never giving up my Eva, since I could buy another Soho disco
I agree the disco holds more!
Sent the disco back and keeping the Eva Monogram. We do a lot of cruising and the Eva will be great for that. That little purse is just too cute and it holds more than it looks.
any advice on pricing for Eva in really good condition? Prices seem to be all over the place. I want DE and I really would prefer the bag to be clean on the interior and with minimal corner wear. Fashionphile has some that are in the $800-$900 range and that seems steep for a discontinued bag. I just wish I'd known it was going to be discontinued and I would've bought it new.
ETA: would love to know what those of you who own it would/wouldn't pay for this bag!

I would never pay 8-900 for a used one. I think my mono was under 600 brand new over a decade ago. I wouldn’t pay more than it retailed for. Honestly I’d find something else to love instead if I couldn’t get a good price.
I believe the year it was discontinued it retailed for $775 plus tax. I paid $675 for my DE at the store in 2013. I recently bought a used mono in great used condition for $700. I don't think I would pay more than $700.
I wish Miss De-Eva (see what I did there lol........I know...that was corny) would make a comeback!
Thanks to you both! I was considering the Favorite PM but now that might be getting discontinued as well. I really just want a small crossbody that’s brown and can be causal or dressier.
I have both and love both. The alma bb is a different kind of bag in my opinion. Much more the classic structured bag while the Eva is a good clutch or crossbody bag. The alma bb holds much more than the Eva too because of the wide structured body and height. I'll attach a few pics if it helps. Good luck with your decision! [emoji4]
