Hi there, I’ve been reading all your comments about the Eva clutch. How’s your Eva clutch holding up so far? Did you start seeing any split at the corner of the zipper?? I would be so grateful if you reply back please.

I bought my Eva clutch in 2014 but I haven’t noticed the split until now. I don’t know if some bags are made like that or it’s wear and tear. I barely used the bag though it’s been on the dust bag for years. Thank you and please let me know if you noticed anything changes on your Eva clutch.

Hi, I bought the Eva clutch in damier ebene new from the store around 2016 or 2017. As soon as I heard it was being discontinued, I ran to the store and was lucky to nab one. Even then the trend was clear—LV was heading toward phasing out amazing and well-priced (!) functional bags like the Eva, and jacking up prices like you would not believe on similar bags they were introducing.

The Eva is one of my most-used bags a was definitely a great purchase. Aside from hairline scratches on the plate which don’t bother me, it still looks brand new. It’s super light (I have back issues so appreciate the light weight) and the zipper is smooth and of high quality. Thanks to the detachable strap, I regularly alternate between using it as a clutch or crossbody. Love this bag and will never get rid of it!

Hi, I had sold it again and no, no splitting at the end of the zipper at the time I had sold it. It's not my only bag, so I don't use it exclusively and I always careful with my bags, know what they prone to, so all my bags are in new or like new condition.

Even if you see split at the end of the zipper, it will not enlarge if you use it mindfully.

Hello everyone, I’ve just bought an DE Eva without the leather strap. Does anyone knows how much will it cost to order one from LV please?
I got a replacement Vachetta strap for mine last year and it was about $150 or $190. I don’t remember exactly. However I never use the vachetta strap I find it too long. I think back in the day the crossbody bags used to hang a lot lower than now compounded with being short that bag strap is way too long for me.

I have sent a message to LV regarding the strap, still waiting on them to answer.. Meantime, I've been using my mono adjustable strap on it and the length is perfect. I might try the Alma BB DE strap too.
