Yes, I do see what you are referring to. I don't actually think that is a crack in the canvass, however. I had noticed that on my Eva's too a long time ago. They all have it, on all four corners of the zipper. I think it's a deliberate slit in the canvas to accommodate the lining bending behind the canvas, if you understand what I mean? It shows up a more easily on the damier ebene because of the red lining, but it's present on all of the Evas on all of the corners in the exact same spot and it's the exact same size. If you look closely, there is a stitch behind each of those tiny slits, and the slit does not expand beyond that stitch. I think it's part of the design of this particular piece, probably to relieve stress on the canvas from the lining. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
