Where did you see that one? I have one on the way to me, I wonder why people want to sell asap after they find out a bag is retired?
Poshmark. Because mostly discontinued bags price is locked at when they were last sold at the store that means price isn't going to increase as time go by, longer people waits, lower price on the second hand market.

They are probably afraid it will look dated soon and want to sell to people having trouble finding it at stores.
Yes, that too! The highest price is usually when the bag is still in production or right after discontinued.

Hi Ladies,

I need advice/resassurance/honest opinions. I purchased a preloved eva which was in excellent condition, in my opinion it literally looked new. Since it was a couple years old I decided I wanted to clean and condition it using apple care products (which I had heard very good things about on here). The bag went from a very light patina to what I consider fairly dark. I do really prefer a darker patina on monogram bags as I think it compliments that monogram print much better than a lighter patina, however since this is my first mono bag I wanted to make sure the color was right and ask you ladies if you like it or thought it was a mistake to use the product. As I said I do like a darker patina I just didn’t expect it to darken it to this extent. Please let me know your thoughts as I have attached the before and after pictures. Thanks girls!

before answering your question, let me tell you my painful experience, several years ago, I had just joined here, and I read posts saying using milk could take pen marks off vachetta leather, so I tried it, it was a disaster!! That was a painful experience. I have since never apply anything to my bags even sometimes came very close after watched YouTubes and lots of reviews.

Now back to your question, my honest opinion is I prefer light patina unless it was from my own using. Darker patina also lower the resale value.

Maybe the color on your bag will back to lighter? I have seen people saying it would be dark first then back to light?

I don't think it looks too dark at all. It looks pretty perfect actually.

I think the patina looks even and complements the monogram print really well!

I called the LV customer service # and was connected to my local store. They let me order a replacement strap even though there was no record of an Eva purchase in the system. It's worth a shot.
Edited to Add: Per the SA, it would take a couple of weeks - but it ended up taking a couple of months to come in from France. I also had to call a couple of times to check on it. I wasn't charged until I picked it up though.
How much did you pay for the strap? I need a strap for my Damier ebene one, long story it broke. I kinda held off for a while not ordering it because the strap is so long but now that I found out it's discontinued, I might as well buy the replacement strap for it.
