Pics I took yesterday when I carried her for the first time....I don't know the exact name of the color but was told it never went into production. It seems to be a shade or two brighter than the Orange out now...

omg tara, your cupid's orange is 100x more gorgeous than the "bright orange" that's available on rm.com right now! that one looks kinda drab to me.... yours is PERFECT!! the gold hw and fun black w/ polka dot lining is the icing on top! ahhh so jealous!

Thanks kiwi! I carried her to work yesterday and had to make removals from hospitals. All 3 male morgue attendants complimented her. It was so funny.
I always seem to get a lot of use out of an orange bag when I own one. The only other orange I had was a Persimmon MAC and have always missed it. Thanks!

Your comments always make me happy! They are always fun and positive. I love you for it! I am really loving this bag. It's going to be hard but I think I may switch out of it today...
i blame u for me totally lusting after a cupid now!! actually i first saw it in the raspberry color at Saks last fall and told myself THIS WILL BE MY FIRST RM!! (this was when i was an RM newbie and had NO IDEA of the power of TPF, bonz and bay hahahha) then it was on the back burner when the whole mattie/MAM/Nikki/MAC extravaganza started lol but after seeing your black w/ silver and now this orange w/ gold.... OMG! i want one! i want one! now to just find the perfect color + hw combo... 
Tara, how do you like the newly revamped Cupid? Does the new xbody strap make much of a difference? What about the handles, do they seem more sturdy? I really want to get the pink one and it's on pre-sale at MOB (thank you Joy) but I want to be sure it's better before I buy. I've bought and sold 3 of the original Cupids due to structural probs.

I have a Cupid and I saw RMs email offering to help with any issues w the bag and got worried. I even wore my bag several times to see of anything would break..... But I have no issues.
I just want to know what can go wrong so I can test and watch for the damage.
Yes, At some point you need one in your collection. I hope she starts making them in more colors and different hw colors. I am so tempted by the Pink one but will hold out hoping for more of a selection. (I'm sure to regret this decision though..lol)

Thanks. The leather is so yummy and the color is too.. This bag has received the most compliments on the street than any other of my purses.. Who knew?!?
To be perfectly honest, I do not notice a difference at all.
Structurally, it feels exactly the same. I do not notice any difference in the handles although RM says that they are most secure. Both my Black and Orange Cupids were packed to the gills and handled the weight very well.
Visually, the strap is different, as it has the hole and buckle instead of where you just slide the leather to add more length. Makes no difference to me. I like them both. And the back pocket is missing on my Orange Cupid not sure if that is a new thing or just missing on mine (sample).
What were the structural probs you encountered?
I'm right with you.. I have had no problems so far with either Cupids.
I had red, lavendar, and metallic taupe cupids. No problem with the red (just sold it due to lack of use) but both lavendar and MT the leather handle slipped out of the metal casing that was supposed to hold it. Bags weren't overstuffed at all. No problems with crossbody strap, I was more just wondering on that. I ordred all 3 at the same time during one of the OSS's so maybe it was a bad batch of hardware during production, who knows. I've avoided Cupid ever since but that pink just looks amazing and so does the black! They look more sqare in pix but not sure if that's the case in person.

The Pink Cupid is gorgeous. I think about it everyday. MOB only has 2 for pre- order. She always has coupon codes. The one available now is only valid on in stock items.
I noticed the more boxy/ squarer shape in some pictures too. I don't like that as much as the shape we have all come to like.
Here is a pic I found on Minkette. In the bottom right corner is a Cupid. If these are the "new" Cupids with the extra hardware loops, I am not a fan. I like the Cupid simple with not too much going on. Notice the old strap too.
