I don't know about the hardware either... The pink one on the bloomingdale's website has a different type of leather- or at least it looks that way. It looks more pebbled to me or else I would have bought one by now lol!!

Oh gosh, the pebbled leather on the Pink one is what is making me obsess about it. I love a beautiful textured leather. To me it gives the bag a personality. :smile1:

AGREED!! it's the same leather that someone revealed in the swing a few days ago!! looks so soft and pillowy!!! :drool: lvsweetness just got a gray cupid and between your two and hers, i'm dying over here!! now i HAVE to get one!!! i have my eyes on the cobalt w/ silver hw on nordies.com but can't swing retail right now.... i'm already into my JULY bag fund!! :lawl::lawl: it's so bad! :sweatdrop:

I am sooooo sad! I just got a Cupid bag in (what I thought was) great condition on eBay and the hardware holding the crossbody strap broke clean off in the first 30 seconds I was using it! I did have my iPad in there but it was not overly heavy and certainly not packed full. I believe the bag is used, but not by much. It still had one of the tags on it when I got it! Does anyone know if RM will repair bags purchased used?? Or do I even have to say anything about where I purchased? I truly love the style of this bag and will be really bummed if I have to return it.

oh no!!! sorry to hear about that shay! :wtf: this is not the first time i've heard about quality issues on these bags. but there was a recent post from the RM team that they've assessed these issues and made changes to the newer cupids coming out! what season is yours from? i'd contact your seller first and see what she says about it. she may've used the bag more often than she described. and then u can try contacting the RM team for more assistance - i don't think it'd hurt to ask since it's an RM bag and you'd be paying for the repairs. But from earlier posts on here, it takes awhile for the repairs to get fixed and sent back to you. I'd also just wait to see if any other cupid owners on here can weigh in and offer their advice! sorry i couldn't help anymore!

I'm not sure what season it's from - its the light glazed tan color (I think it was called Luggage?) and I hadn't seen it on any of the retail sites. It's just the color I was looking for, too.

The seller really didn't say anything about how much she used the bag. I can just tell it's barely been used...this is a bag that's maybe been out in the world for a week, if that. The leather is mostly unmarked, the bottom is in like-new shape, the lining is pristine, etc.

I did contact the seller but I'm afraid my only option will be to return it, which I really don't want to do. I also don't want to put a non-matching replacement strap on it but I'm considering it as a last resort! Hopefully if the seller doesn't have any ideas, I can get some help from RM directly. I'd be willing to wait for such a gorgeous bag!

if it has silver hw and the blue w/ black polka dot lining then it's "luggage" from spring 2012! it's currently on nordies.com and it's gorgeous! sounds like u really love this bag so i would try contacting RM and see what your options are and if it sounds like too much of a hassle, then i'd return it if your seller agrees to it. it's from the current collection so there will probably be more posted for sale sooner or later. best of luck!!!
