I just purchased my third. Love the Boy!!

I do have multiple classic flaps, but I would say the Boy bag is easier to get in and out of, to style, and all around more comfortable (you can wear it three ways). I have the new medium, old medium (just purchased), and the small. All Boy's are fabric lined except for exotics. Let me know if I can answer any questions..happy to help :hbeat:

New medium: Caramel/beige lambskin and shiny silver hardware
Old medium: Black calfskin and ruthenium hardware
Small: Dark grey calfskin and aged gold hardware

What are the three ways? Are they single long strap, doubled strap, and crossbody? Or am I missing something?! Slowly LOVING this bag!!

I am thinking of getting a boy and am wondering if they are going out of style since they have been out for 10 years and the 19 is the new style however I don't like the 19 or the 22. I like the classics for a date night. It seems like the classic minis are the trend right now I like them but they are too small for me for everyday. The jumbo is heavy and $10,000 now so I am considering a boy for day use. Any thoughts? Are they leather lined in 2022?
I just got the small boy and it’s leather lined.

Hello Everyone! I absolutely LOVE this forum and this thread! Nowhere else do I feel comfortable obsessing over this particular bag. I used to have the new medium boy (in black lambskin) maybe 7 years ago but sold it because I was just babying it too much (and it was slightly too big for every day use). I also sold my boy woc (also in black lambskin) for the same reason.. and also my caviar GHW and SHW (because I really wanted lambskin but felt caviar would be more durable... but I just didn't FEEL for the caviar as much). I felt bad having spent that much money on things I weren't even using.

BUUUUUUUUT I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE lambskin  and the story and design of the boy bags, so my husband finally nudged me into buying a pre-loved old medium boy (in black lambskin w/ruthenium hardware) from Fashionphile. I check periodically for drool-factor, but noticed that the prices are much lower than just a year or two ago. So... I just pulled the trigger yesterday and am just waiting for its arrival! :yahoo: Even as my husband was egging me on, I was honestly trying to find reasons why I shouldn't do it (I may get robbed while walking around, lambskin is just too delicate for every day use, scuffs easily, chain in heavy, things might fall off, etc.)... but I decided.. you know what, who cares if it scuffs? How badass would it be if I used this bag SO MUCH so that it was scratched, scuffed, squished, etc? THAT is how I can get the MOST bang for my buck. It's not like I'm trying to pass it down to anyone.

Joining the LeBoy club!

I got this beauty from the boutique last week, shiny caviar in aged gold hardware. I was surprised that it is actually leather lined, hope this will give more structure to the bag though I still ordered a base shaper to be sure.

Pictured her with the siblings, classic flap in lambskin and coco handle in iridiscent caviar. In love with these three!

Congrats!!
I’m curious to know of the leather lined interior will add weight to the bag. But so pretty! Thanks for sharing.
Hi lovely,

The bag is not that heavy because the chain is hollow, it’s so much lighter. I didn’t have the chance to check older boy bags but my SA told me they made the chain lighter now..so perhaps, the lighter chain compensates for the additional weight for leather lining.
