Hello everybody. I recently got a black Le boy, I’m very excited as it is my first Chanel bag. After a few days, I noticed the CC logo is not exactly at the centre of the front plate . I highlighted the corners, like bottom right is slightly higher than bottom left. Is this normal? Or I am being paranoid 07959BF9-5FA1-4698-8083-CBE4CF480F12.jpeg

Finally pulled the trigger and bought the boy bag in size small, black caviar and ruthenium hardware, chevron pattern. Had been offered a couple of colors to choose from, including pink, baby blue, and red. Decide to get this black one and hope I made the right choice. Happy to join the club and thanks for letting me share. happy holidays everyone!

Hi does anyone have issues with corner wears on their Chanel boys? How do you deal with it? Thanks!

Yes I have corner wear and my bag is a year old. It started very early with a peeling caviar finish. It is currently being repaired because the caviar strap started to peel as well.

If I bought this bag again I would honestly go with calfskin because here the wear and tear is expected and not surprising. There is sadly nothing to ‘deal with’ other than getting over it and learning that this is a design problem with boy bags.

Thanks! Can you share a picture of it? I have a pro max too and I’m curious how much room it takes up!

I usually put in the back pocket or right in front. This is what is in my bag right now. Just under a month old. I've been wearing it nonstop, haven't had a reason to switch into a larger bag.

In my flap card case, I have bills, cards, coins, receipts, and a key. It's pretty fat. Thinking of switching it out for a thin card case. I bet could get a compact or tissues in. Sometimes I only pack my Diptyque perfume (black oval) and switch my Bvlgari for a tampon or mascara...same with headphones. My glasses are interchangeable with sunglasses

Thank you so much!!! I was hesitant on getting one since all the reviews had older phones. I feel much better about purchasing it now!

Go for it!! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite bags.

SO many pros in my opinion. Light weight, compact, durable (love the calfskin leather) with a lux feel, can be worn three ways (comfortably!!!) and transitions well casual to dressy and day to night!

Hoping you all might be able to help!

I just received a 17A old medium red caviar by bag with brushed gold hardware. Honestly it’s a lot lighter than I had anticipated (I’m someone who actually likes the heft of my jumbo haha) and I’m a bit concerned about the hardware. Is this much wear normal for the brushed gold? I’m just on the fence about keeping it because the caviar seems a bit more delicate and I’m worried the hardware will look a mess with regular use! Would love to know what everyone thinks :)

I have the 17A navy boy bag and my hardware looked like that new. I think it’s part of the antique gold look. I haven’t noticed that it shows more wear now than when I first got it so I wouldn’t worry too much about the hardware.

I don’t use my boy that often, but I can say the caviar is definitely softer than on a classic flap and there is a potential for creasing on the flap where you bend the flap to open the bag. It doesn’t bother me, but if it is something that is likely to bother you then it’s something to consider.
