Thanks for ur feedback. I just bought a Boy last two months in Black calfskin & shiny GHW. It's more of a desire rather than a need since I already had a Boy. Its quite desirable because purple is my favourite colour! I can't justify myself for paying a lot more than retail. I have to agree with you that there will always be something else that I will love equally and don't have to pay over the roof. Thankssss!

Item: Chanel - Old medium lambskin Le Boy in black

I found this In a luxury item Facebook group - the seller bought it from a previous seller in the same group. There is no receipt, but she mentions that the previous seller was reputable and got one of the screws fixed at Chanel before giving it to her. There is evidently some wear , the sides are quite collapsed. She's letting it go for CAD $4000. Worth it or not?

For me personally I wouldn't buy any preloved without receipt and if I go for preloved the bag has to be in pristine condition. Such Boy in lambskin and medium is like Chanel permanent collection, its not hard to buy. Is budget a concern for you? If not I will say just buy a brand new from boutique. Price is pretty good but I couldn't accept the condition of the bag (coz I baby my bag and store it really nicely and have OCD about obvious or deep marks and and scratches).

For me I wouldn't suggest you taking it, as other tpfer mentioned this combo is not hard to get. And the bag in the picture shows a heavy sign of usage, not to mention that the cc logo on the front doesn't look align to me

I wouldn't take this bag. Especially without a receipt. There's so much wear and tear. The lambskin looks completely obliterated in the structural walls so it won't hold its shape much longer. I think it would be better to get a brand new one for the price difference. It's just a bit too far gone.

so far how is your 17P blue boy in grained lambskin? How is the leather? any Chipping in leather or hardware? I am getting a exact blue grained lambskin, but not sure about how the leather and hardware hold up? Scare of the hardware chipping, and not sure about the grained lambskin.

Hi all! I'm a newbie here and wanted to get your thoughts on a purchase! A little late into the game but I've been looking for the 17S so black caviar boy for a few months now with no luck :sad: There are several resellers on eBay who sell it new for $500-600 higher than what I would have to pay in retail (USD $5,600-$5,700 for the old medium). Do you think the price is worth for the so black caviar and will it come out again in the future? It will be my first Chanel purchase and I'm also worried on the authenticity on eBay but I've done some research and looks like at least 2 are legit :smile: Would love to hear your thoughts thanks!!
