To confirm 100% what leather is ypur bag, have your recipt ready call the Chanel client service number and ask them to check for you what exactly is the leather of your Boy Bag by quoting the serial no oh your Boy as printed on the receipt (the long numbers with alphabets) . Grained lambskin is not caviar. I was looking at the pic of your boy bag and I believe it is grained lambskin because my boy looks like that too.. mine is from thensummer collection. but it's always good to confirm with Chanel just in case.

Hi, anyone of you has the 17C Boy with shiny gold hardware? How do you take care or clean the metal CC hardware? I use the white cloth and a little cotton bud, i had tiny hairline scratch around it and that was frustrating coz I didn't even know how I got it even though I was very careful and I even got short nails
I believe you are referring to the 17P collection. The 17C hardware is more brushed gold while the 17P is shiny gold. I have both. It is hard to get the scratches out of the hardware. Once its there, its there. I have alot if scratches on mine and I am very careful with short nails also.
Hi Angel I believe mine is 17C though (I was told so but anyways) as it's black smooth calfskin shiny GHW. I guess I just have to live with it. Seriously i don't even know how did I get the scratches from. Sinnce you have both, how is the brushed gold CC clasp hardware wear? Isit more scratch resistant and less obvious to see those scratches?
I agree! I'm 5'2 and whilst it would be nice to have more space the small boy wins hands down for me and I love mine
it's also made me realise I can get by with surprising little for a day or evening out!!

Hi ladies, im thinking of purchasing 16C Iridescent Purple Le Boy (with iridescent hardware) from reseller but its about $1400 higher than retail for a pristine preloved. Do you think it's worth the price?
Nothing is worth paying above retail imo. Granted that this colour might not come around very often, but unless you absolutely feel you *need* to have it, I'd say there will always be something else that you'll love equally and do not need to pay through the roof.
