I have recently been looking into a new work tote and am considering the cerf tote! I have not seen the smaller size in store but have tried on the normal size. I like that it has a wider base that is not limited by a permanent divider in the middle.

My only concern is the weight of the bag.

Can any owners advise whether the weight becomes on issue to carry around by hand or crook of the arm? I know that it comes with a long strap which I can use to carry over the shoulder, however, it misshapes the bag and I really don't like the look of that.

I hope to hear from some experienced owners to help with my decision making process! :)

I have the cerf now for four years and I agree it's heavy. So when I carry the bag I only carry essentials. And I also don't like the look with the straps. I switch regullary carrying by hand, crook and shoulder.

Thank you for the information.

I think the weight would eventually get to me and I would stop carrying the bag. Maybe this bag isn't for me.

Hi Irene7899, I am sorry i missed your post until today i am not often at online for being a busy mom and working at home...

I've got my small cerf $2500 plus tax last fall. I can PM for my SA info if you're interested and also live in US. I gotta got to bed now and probably not here soon but please let me know anytime if you'd like my SA info. She's great at finding great purses for me :)
