i recently purchased my cerf tote in black s/h and spilled coconut water inside of it then I hand washed it (BIG mistake) but I was freaking out...theres nothing I can do with the waves or slight crinkle in the bag right? its still beautiful just not stiff
I think it did come in snake a few season ago. Don't think it does this season though. It just comes in different coloured leather.
Did you wash the whole bag?

I'm sorry to hear that. Did you stuff it with tissue and dry it naturally? Can you post a pic?
I tried uploading clear pictures. again, the bag looked far worse before. so i should not complain. After I washed it and woke up in the morning it was completely ruined and had all different kind of shapes to it.
I first would take heavy text books and place them inside of the bag having it 1) facing down on one side for about 2-3 hours. 2) facing the interlock c for the same amount of time. 3)standing upward for a whole night so the bottom would be straight. I wish i would have took a before picture because of my face when I saw the bag the next more and the shape the bag was in!
I am lucky that it is still in wearable condition ! The pictures that are posted are with my bag empty

I don't think you should stress. The bag still looks gorgeous. The leather is in great condition & the executive/cerf totes do not stay structured and stiff in any event.
Once there are items in your bag it won't look so 'collapsed' (is that even an adjective??). Sometimes when things like this happen we start to use our bags more & not be too precious about using them.
I would not have an issue carrying your bag around.
I have the older version with2 snaps on the side and made of the original (but quite heavier) cervo leather. From years of loving use, it has of course lost its stiffness and boxiness. But it still looks great. My favorite tote which gets used at work and at play, as an on the go diaper bag, whenever I travel, etc etc. I don't think it loses beauty when it loses the stiffness. But for those who prefer a more structured look, perhaps look elsewhere.
It would have ended up looking like this eventually anyway, so don't feel bad. How long have you had this bag for?
Got this blue Cerf tote yesterday......I was going to choose black but I already have 3 black Chanel bags so I thought this would make a nice change.
This bag looks magnificent, I am very disappointed that it does slouch over time though
I did call Chanel in Chadstone (I am from Melbourne, Australia) and it was quoted for $3440. They have it in black with SHW, I think it is extremely hard to find it with GHW.... has anyone in Australia bought it with GHW? Would really appreciate a response .Thanks ladies
I think that happens with time anyway. They flop ;-( Store it stuffed and you should be fine.
